Chemistry
The students guide consists of three sections which are as follows.

What are the skills that are being tested?


This includes the various cognition levels that will be evaluated and also describes briefly, the probable pattern of questions that can be included under each cognition level.

This includes the structure of the question paper and the marks distribution for the various types of questions.

The question paper has five sections, details of which are given below.

The FA QP shall be 25% MCQ and 75% subjective.

2. Chemical Kinetics
(a) Effect of concentration and temperature on the rate of reaction between sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid.

(b) Separation of constituents present in an inorganic mixture containing two cations only (constituents having wide difference in Rf values to be provided.
6. Preparation of Inorganic Compounds
(a) Preparation of double salt of ferrous ammonium sulphate or potash alum.
(b) Preparation of potassium ferric oxalate.
7. Determination of concentration/molarity of KmnO4 solution by titrating it against a standard solution of:
