Spiracle Work
Words
Spiracle Work: Originally a photographic series which documented
domestic tasks through lights developed into a video piece.
The aim was to create something uncomfortable and leave the
audience feeling claustrophobic.

Raven Tree
Words
My work consists of nature and the growth of natural things.
Combining a range of natural materials, I like to create something
original and real to show the beauty of nature through any medium.

Human Cloning
Words
The idea originally came from looking at DNA and cloning at the
Wellcome collection. It transcended into something that was slightly
darker and more surgical, however it became quite comical in terms
of the presentation and space; it is as if the wall has grown a set of
noses.
My work often deals with serious topics such war, body image and
iconic deaths, but which have been portrayed in lighthearted manner.

Beauty
Words
The compendium includes thermal paper which depicts a visual in-
terpretation of the flame that once was. A video is made of the flame
and the documentation process. The spent match is collected and
sealed in an evidence bag and photographed for prosperity. The work
is not just the resulting artifacts created by the flames, but the process
and actuality of the flames too. It is a series which documents the
ephemeral delicacy and transitory being of a flame.

What’s Normal
Words
Arriving at Welling School on the first day of year seven I would
never have thought I would have experienced such things as visiting
and photographing ‘abandoned mental asylums, abandoned
hospital’s, an abandoned morgue, numerous World War defence
forts, abandoned factories and interviewing a celebrity gangster’. The
Welling School Art department has truly influenced me as an Artist to
fully understand where my interests lie.

Unsettling
Melody
Words
My work consists of reversing videos to see what reaction is pro-
voked out of the audience; I reversed and slowed down videos of
mouths talking. I wanted to see the reactions of the audience because
they have no idea what the mouth is saying making the video quite
unsettling.

Routine Time
Words
I wanted to create work around being in a routine, especially
coming to the end of the school where time and routine is a big part
in school life. I like work that has a connection to the artist, which is
why I like to make my work personal. In the last two years the
subject of my work has been family, memories and sentimental
objects.

Bottled Up
Words
My work reflects on the feeling of being restricted throughout life.
Such restriction is portrayed through fish and their entrapment within
bottles.
