 There is a lot of difference in processing temperature of the
polymer and the foaming agent due to which suitable results
are not achieved.

 In a masterbatch , certain additives are added to lower the


decomposition temperature of the foaming agent making it
closer to melting point of the polymer and delivering excellent
results. Moreover the foaming agent is uniformly dispersed in
masterbatch as a result the cell structure is fine and uniform
