INSTRUCTIONS

1) You have five minutes to read this page and 15? minutes to finish
the tasks
2) With every task, you find an encoding of the alphabet (missing
vowels). For the example below, you read it in this way: B becomes
H, G becomes S, K becomes T, and so on.
3) In this example, you have to find the letters Q and B (see Search
for column). First, you look up the coded letters: Q becomes N and
B becomes H.
4) Find the coded letters in the series. To finish the task, write down the
letters which are at the immediate left in the series. In this example,
these are B and G.
a. If the letter appears multiple times, write down all possible
solutions.
b. When two or three letters must be encoded, please write down
e.g. in the case of two letters the next two letters at the
immediate left (read from left to right, see example in the
second series)

To appreciate your participation, you will be rewarded with two sweets
after the test.

Your compensation depends on the performance of your students: you will

be rewarded measured on the lowest performance reached of all students.
If the lowest-performing person achieves less than 50% of points,
everyone will be rewarded nothing. If he or she achieves between 50-75%
of all points, you will be rewarded one, in the case of >75% two sweets.

To appreciate your participation, you will be rewarded with one sweet after
the test. Nevertheless, if you score better than the overall average of your
fellow students, you will be rewarded with two extra sweets.
