I. Objectives
Within the period, the students are expected to
a. distinguish the three kinds of verb from one another;
b. give their own sentence which applies any of the three kind of verb;
c. write what kind of verb is used in the given sentences.

II. Subject Matter: Identifying the Three Kinds of Verbs

The students will be asked of what are their favorite things to do.
D. Discussion Proper
1. How important do you think is the role of each kind of verb?
2. How are these will help you to become an effective communicator?
3. How the three kinds of verb differ from one another?
E. Synthesis
Did you learn something today? Who can give me the brief summary of what we
have discussed this morning?
F. Evaluation
Write what kind of verb is being used in each sentence.

have discussed this morning?

G. Students will write a narrative out of their latest memorable experience following
the passive voice.
H. Assignment
Do an act on random kindness with in the week. How do you feel after every act?
Write your narrative in your diary following the passive voice.

One by one, students will give one word that they have remembered from the past
lesson. No word must be repeated. If someone did, he/she will be eliminated.

Interrogative pronouns will be flashed on the slide. Students then will be asked to
use it in a question.
D. Discussion Proper
1. Who can still remember of what a pronoun is?
2. What comes in your mind if you hear the word Interrogative?
3. Why do you think it is very important to learn these?
4. How do you think this knowledge will help you in developing your critical
thinking skills?
5. Is it right to answer a question with another question?
6. What do you think will happen if we do not know how to respect others?
E. Synthesis
Now that you have learned the interrogative pronouns and its importance, what
are your insights or realizations?
F. Evaluation
Activity: Change the statements into questions.
1. G. Burce Bunao wrote a poem about Rizal.
2. He admires Rizal in this poem.
3. In the poem, Rizal is referred to as the skipper.
4. A sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines.
5. Nick Joaquin writes poems too.
G. Assignment
Answer page 161 in your book, exercise C.
