 Are You Listening To You?

"Pattern yourselves after me [follow my example], as I imitate {and} follow Christ
(the Messiah)" (1 Corinthians 11:1 AMP).

Y our choice of words is probably the most significant indicator of whom or what
youve been listening to. Youll surely talk like the person you look up to. If you
set your gaze on the Lord and His Word, your words will be laden with the anointing to
produce the right results. For this reason, Paul adjured the brethren; Be ye followers of
me he said, even as I also am of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1). He wasnt only desirous
for them to imitate his action, but his words as well.
Always remember that youre not of this worlds system, hence, you shouldnt keep
talking as though the circumstance of your life is governed by its principles. Now that
youre born again, your words must align with that of your heavenly Father. Its either
youre speaking like God or the devil himself; there are no two ways about it.
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye
ought to answer every man (Colossians 4:6). That means, your words must always
give peoples lives value. Those that come in contact with you should leave your presence
refreshed in their spirits. You should be an investor in people. Remember that reaching
people is Gods priority and thats what youre living for.
Therefore, take time to listen to yourself. Consider your choice of words and make
relevant changes today.
