Significance of our Research Social Media is one of our Reasons why Students cant study better and
getting high grades they choose to scrolling Social Media Applications like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
Snapchat, and Tumblr. Social Media is also helpful Example there is a Emergency then You can chat your
Friends or Relatives to get some helpBut there are so many Bad Effects like Lack of Sleep, Tardiness,
Makes you lazy to do your assigned work etc. The Importance of this research is to know how Social Media
affects the learners of MCHS.Social Media is the one of the main reason why learners lazy to study and get
low grades and one of the main problem of their parents because of the media. Now do Social Media good
or bad? Theres a good benefits and bad benefits. Lets start with good benefits it can use in emergency or
show your great moments to your friends using social media. Second the Bad benefits it can cause lack of
sleep, Failing grades, and Tardiness.

Prevention and intervention efforts utilizing social media are promising. Abstract Use of social media use
is widespread and frequent among college students. Posting photos and text related to risk behaviors (e.g.,
problematic alcohol use, illicit drug use) on social media websites is common and has been linked to
personal substance use and negative outcomes. This mini-review summarizes current findings related to
associations between college students' social media use and engagement in risk behaviors. Conducting
research on social media poses unique challenges for researchers; these challenges are reviewed and
their impact on the state of the current literature discussed. Finally, implications for prevention and
intervention efforts are discussed as well as recommendations regarding future research in the area of
social media and college student risk behaviors.

A. Background Information The Millenials in todays generation are somehow complicated. Because
sometimes social media has a different benefits to Junior High School Students in Mabalacat Community
High School. (According to Mabalacat Community High School Students, technologies helps a lot in their
studies and even teachers. This is also their past time when they didnt do nothing. Social media is a form
of electronic communication through which users create online communities to share information, ideas,
personal, messages and others content. The use of social media might bring about both positive and
negative effects. According to an article, social media allows users to communicate with other people and it
helps them discover new things, ideas and information. It can also enable them to give further information.
On the other hand, the use of social media can also result to negative effects. It make learners lose focus
on their studies. It makes them lazy, have lack of sleep and it makes them delay their paperwork. Evolution
of the technology is makes your life easier than before. For them social media is life, its like they cannot
lived without it.
