2.4.2 Decision tree
2.4.1 Artificial Neural Networks
Neural networks also known as parallel distributed processing models and connectivity systems, are computer based, self-
adaptive models that were first developed in the year 1960s. Initially it was derived from neuroscientists model of human
neurons, neural networks now encompass a wide variety of the system. Then later it was implemented with neuron networks
then it is called as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN).In neural networks in each layer is composed of several nodes. While
user has enter the symptoms in input layer, these layer has interacts with hidden layer. In hidden layer it has filter the various
medicine and it will gives accurate medicine to the user to the output layer.
It is crude electronic device models which is based on the neural structure of human brain. The brain learns basically from
the experience. This the new method of learning which provide more graceful degradation in the traditional counterpart. In
medical application, the most frequently used technique is neural network algorithm. In some medical applications of neural
networks in medicine, explaining how neural networks can be used as statistical tools for making inferences and in which
aspects they are more promising than conventional statistical techniques.

2.4.2 Decisions Tree

Decision tree is graph based that used as branching method to illustrate every possible outcome of a decision. The tree which
can be drawn by hand or created with help of a graphics program or any specialized program. Decision tree software is used
in a data mining to simplify complex strategic challenges and to evaluate cost effectiveness on research and business
decisions. In medical decision making there are many situations where decisions must be made effectively and reliably.

Decision trees are a reliable and effective technique that provide high classification accuracy with a simple representation of
gathered knowledge and they have been used in the different areas of medical decision making.

3. Health care system

3.1 Smart health care system

Smart Health refers to execution of different issues to focus on supporting patients to self-manage injuries in case of minor
incidents.
Android has given rises to smart health and focus is on improving the operating system to efficiency and reliability
while maintaining quality, privacy of data and provides health record. Thus, results into quality health care to users.
In smart phone particular person can access his or her medical information and can get the data of their physical
fitness. In mobile application gives notifications and it is used to that alert when data is abnormal.
Health care system is the complete system thatprovideinteraction between user and health care provider .Cloud
system is used for two way communication.
In India was ranked at 112 out of 190 countries by World Health Organizations (WHO) 2000 report. After these
report they argue that country faces bigger challenges such as economic development, infrastructure, jobs, and
border disputes with other countries.
This smart health monitoring system is categorized into three parts:

3.1.1 Data acquisition

3.1.2 Cloud computing system
3.1.3 Real time health portal
3.1.1Data acquisition
Data acquisition is the process of sampling signals that measures real world physical conditions and converts resulting
samples into digital numeric values that can be manipulate by system. There also data that could be caught and manipulated
from biological objects, either human beings or animals. Data acquisition is the process of measuring a physical or electrical
phenomenon such as current, voltage, temperature, pressure or sound with a system. A data acquisition system consists of
various parts such as sensor, DAQ devices and computer. Data acquisition system uses as a radiation detection system that
measures the amount of radiation passing through a patient. In these, the system also converts analog signals to digital data
that can be analyzed by the system.

3.1.2Cloud computing system

The implementation of cloud technologies in healthcare is the way to communicate more effective patient care and
management for medical professionals around the world. As more facilities start to integrate cloud computing into their
healthcare systems, it is imperative to examine the emergent trends and an innovations in the field. Highlighting the
challenges and difficulties in implementing cloud technology into healthcare field, this publication is a critical reference
source academics, engineers, professionals, analysts, graduate students and technology designer.

3.1.3Real time health portal

Health portal technology is becoming increasingly popular throughout the healthcare industry. According to National
Coordinator for Health Information Technology, 64 percent of hospitals gave their patients access to view, download, and
transmit their heath data in 2014, and 51 percent had the ability to secure message with their patients. This popularity is all
for a good reason. It is true that not all patient portals have all of the same features, these tools do hold a lot of power as a
patient engagement and satisfaction. Research shows that when patients are able to see their own health data, they gain
ownership of their own wellness and better prepared to interact with their providers about their care.

3.2 Health challenges

Health is the most important element that are need by human being. It is primary goal for individual growth as well as for
growth of society. Therefore physical and mental fitness is very important to maintain for development. Global health issues
are major concerns for nowadays.India faces the twin epidemic of continuing/emerging infectious diseases as well as chronic
degenerative diseases. The former is related to poor implementation of the public health programs, and the latter to
demographic transition with increase in life expectancy.Expenditure on health by the Government continues to be low. It is
not viewed as an investment but rather as a dead loss. States under financial constraints cut expenditure on health.Growth in
national income by itself is not enough, if the benefits do not manifest themselves in the form of more food, better access to
health and education.

India has 48 doctors per 100,000 persons which is fewer than in developed nations. Wide urban-rural gap in the availability
of medical services: InequityPoor facilities even in large Government institutions compared to corporate hospitals (Lack of
funds, poor management, political and bureaucratic interference, lack of leadership in medical community) .

4. LITERATURE SURVEY

Aditya Tomer[1] - This aims at developing a computerized system to maintain a health by knowing the related symptoms.
This study provide many features that generally not available in a normal software like suggesting doctors as per the disease,
symptoms and gives reference of mobile application which could help us to remind fit. It is a symptom checker module
which actually defines our body structures and gives us liability to select the affected area and check out the symptoms. This
study focused on a developing on computerized system to check about our health issue.

Andrew W. Downey [2]- In these paper the author describe the characteristics and outcomes of patients receiving a medical
emergency team(MET). These review for the syndromes of acute change in conscious state or arrhythmia and to assess the
effect to delayed activation on their outcomes. The doctor collected information on patient demographics, presence of sepsis
and patient outcome. An acute change in conscious state leading to a MET call carried a greater risk of death activation due
to arrhythmias. Delayed activation was common for both syndromes and was independently associated with an increased risk
of death.

D.R. Goldhill [3] - The author indicated in these paper, a patient at a risk team to allow the early identification of seriously ill
patients on hospital wards. Predefined physiological criteria were not able to reliably predict which patients would be
admitted to the intensive care unit. Many critically ill ward patients had abnormal physiological values before intensive care
unit admission. Identification of critically ill patients on the ward and early advice and active management are likely to
prevent the need for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and to improve outcomes.
Gipsa Alex [4] - This author proposed that a modern health care is based on the IOT platform along with the sensor for
monitoring and diagnosis. Here the service is based on the IOT as a great potential towards the medical field. The proposed
platform havea intelligent medical box that give update and alert notification in the smart phone. The system automatically
gives the alarm to the patient so that they can take right medicine at the right time. As if any vital signs and notice SMS alert
for a predefined guardian.

Gitarja Sandi [5]-In this author proposed about the hypertension disease that leads to heart attack and blood vessels diseases.
They maintain the blood pressure on the normal condition used to reduce the risk of the hypertension and blood pressure. The

patient consult hypertensive condition by visiting hospital and measure of the blood pressure and they get diagnosed the
patient blood pressure. This paper describe the monitoring and consulting for hypertension using smart phone device.

Juan Vizkarrondo [6]-The author illustrated that service composition the failure of service increased error propagation in the
other service involve in it. Such a failure cannot be detected or corrected locally, it have to develop the architecture to enable
the diagnosis and use to correct the fault as a individuals as a global. The middleware platform particularly reflective
middleware being used powerful tools to scope inherent heterogeneous nature of distributed system. In these paper, the
author proposed middleware architecture for diagnosis.

Soumya S. Kenganal [7]-The prime aim of the project is to implement the effective health care monitoring dash board. The
proposed system used to monitor the vital parameter like ECG, temperature, BP, heart rate etc, through the wirelessly ZigBee
technology. The PC consist of receiver ZigBee which act as a hub display the application about the transmitted data .This
enable the doctor can receive current status about the patient in areal time. Android application also generate automatic call
option if doctor forgot to notice the notification.

R.G Jahns [8]-The purpose of m-health is its capacity to facilitate consumption of Electronical health record (EHR) data
using mobile device which they used to promote remote health care delivery. In this project called SOPHRA is collaboration
with the city hospital which focused on supporting care in the collections for a patient medical data. A major challenge needs
to address the potential loss of communication in mobile clients and health information system. Thus the goal of this work is
to propose the m-health architectural environment to exploit the limited available bandwidth during the medical data transfer.

Richard K. Lomotey[9]-In these paper the author proposed that their own multiple mobile device such as tablets, smart
phones in order to access the electronic health record(EHR) .But the wireless communication channel on a mobile device
limited the user expectations as the connectivity cannot be guaranteed due to the intermediate losses in mobile ecosystem.
Only two of the properties can be guaranteed simultaneously. In this they proposed the middleware platform that
synchronized the medical data on their multiple devices.

Zankhana Mehul Kalarthi[10]-This paper represents the idea of solving health issue using technology and IoT.It represents
the architecture view for a smart health care system using android which aims to provide good health towards everyone. The
system architecture provides the patient body measures in a real time. This database stored into the MYSQL database server
which is used to manage data and provide accessibility to the users. User can view this data using android app. If data about
patient is abnormal then the patient gets notification via mail.
