A clinical clerkship is defined as the rotation of a student in a clinical department of a
hospital or clinic, such as Dermatology and Pediatrics.

- To obtain the SCOPE certificate:

At least 80% attendance IS REQUIRED.

PorMSIC Evaluation Form MUST BE FILLED IN.

Outgoing's Handbook MUST be completely filled in at the end of the clerkship.

IFMSA Evaluation Form MUST be filled in by the end of the clerkship

- Students will be provided with Clinical Workshops sessions during their intership.

ATTENTION
- Fill out all THREE choices on the AF. If you fill out one choice only, this means that you
agree to any LC if the one you choose is not available. You need to choose 3 different
cities, otherwise we will send your AF back.
- We don't accept pre-clinical students (1st or 2nd year).
- We don't accept veterinary, biochemistry, pharmaceutical or dentistry students or any
students who are not studying Medicine.

Upon Arrival documents
The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and
the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them.
So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones.
(Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested
to take with them in the host country.
Insurance
- Health insurance is required and must be arranged by the student. It must be sent with
the AF or handing to LEO when arriving.
Your clerkship will be cancelled if this requirement is not fulfilled.
- Liability Insurance is needed only in Lisboa (AEFCML) and Algarve (NEMed).
You will have to send it only after you receive your CA.
