 ABSTRACT

The title of the project is “Combined Steam Pressure Reducing &

Desuperheating Valve”. Our project is sponsored by Steam and Fuel
Economy Engineers, Plot No 59, Tiny Industrial Estate Kondhwa Budrukh
Pune – 4110048.

The objective of Pressure Reducing cum De Superheating (PRDS) valve is to

reduce pressure and temperature of the steam simultaneously thereby
reducing the cost and time required to carry out both the process
separately.

It increases the efficiency of the whole system by reducing pressure and

temperature of the steam at the same time. This process is much more
effective and efficient than the conventional method of reducing pressure
and temperature individually.

The estimated cast of the whole project is 1 to 1.5 Lakhs
