MEET INFORMATION
Welcome to the John Sanders Early Season Invitational. It is hoped that your experience will be
a positive one for your team. There are no team champions for this meet. It is conducted with
participation in mind to allow coaches to find out just how good their teams are at the beginning of the
season. Weather can be a factor, so be prepared!

1) Entries are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday March 23rd. E-mail your entries to jnovotny@ofcs.net
List your fastest runner in each event first.

2) Changes to your lineup can be done the day of the meet.

3) Please do not use tape or chalk on the track.

4) Please stay off the football field.

5) Athletes should check in by 2nd call to keep the meet running smoothly.

6) Scoring: No team scores will be kept.

7) Awards: Individual Events: Ribbons for 1st through 6th place.

Relays: Ribbons for 1 st through 6th place.
(Each champion also receives a t-shirt).

8) Teams entered are: Berea-Midpark, Columbia, Holy Name, Midview, Olmsted Falls,
Padua, Painesville Riverside, and Valley Forge.

9) Each team is allowed three athletes per event and one relay team.

10) Please clean up your team area before you leave.

11) Do not walk on the bleachers with spikes on.

12) Restrooms are located by the concession stand.

GIRLS SHOT PUT: No Finals, 4 Throws Flights
BOYS DISCUS: No Finals, 4 Throws Flights
BOYS LONG JUMP: Open Pit - 10:00 AM 11: 15 AM - No Finals, 4 Jumps
GIRLS POLE VAULT: 5, 6, 7', 7 6, 8 0, 8 6, 9 0, .

Remaining field events will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the 10:00 AM events.

BOYS HIGH JUMP: 5', 5 3, 5 6, 5 8, 5 10, 6, 0, 6 1, 6 2,

BOYS SHOT PUT: No Finals, 4 Throws. Flights
GIRLS DISCUS: No Finals, 4 Throws. Flights
GIRLS LONG JUMP: Open Pit - 11:30 12:45 - No Finals, 4 Jumps.
BOYS POLE VAULT: 7, 8, 9', 10, 11, 11 6, 12, 12 6, .
