FTQ?
What is FTQ?
FTQ is inspection, punch list, and reporting software for managing quality, safety,
and on-time delivery.
Faster than paper forms. Simply touch the checkpoints, add inspection data or notes
and your inspection is done. One button notification lets you notify vendors by email
or text message when problems are found.

Adding picture to your inspection checklists is part of the PLAN in the PLAN, DO,
CHECK, ACT cycle of improving quality. In planning, youll identify your quality
improvement priorities and using pictures on your inspection checklists helps you
communicate those priorities and places emphasis on your quality goals.

Analyzing how well you are meeting your goals is essential to improving quality. As
such, its also an important part of the PLAN, DO, CHECK, ACT cycle. FTQ
Dashboards and Reports give you the information you need to see whats working
and whats not.
Youll be able to set single or multiple inspector types for each of your system users
depending on the role or roles they play.
Different inspector types have different roles for evaluating the same tasks. Therefore,
the checklists they use should have different checkpoints. Obviously, quality inspec-
tors and safety inspectors will be evaluating different aspects of a task. But, what
about different quality inspectors or different safety inspectors?
They too can play different roles in the evaluating the same tasks. For example,
subcontractors self-inspecting their work may have different checkpoints than your
quality manager or superintendents. Scoring is also an area where you may want
variations.
Inspecting is part of the CHECK in the PLAN, DO, CHECK, ACT cycle. Having a
variety of source data (i.e. data from multiple inspectors) helps you make better
decisions moving forward. FTQ lets you combine data from multiple sources
(whether within or outside of your company) to get a complete picture.
If you use third party inspectors, they can sign on to FTQ and access their own
checklists. Or, you can import information into FTQ from their inspection systems.
You can also import customer satisfaction data into FTQ. Using FTQ dash-
boards and reports, youll have the information you need to ACT.
