Unity Voicemail Setup

NOTE: Initial voicemail setup can be performed on any phone. Please follow the instructions below.

- Press the Messages button on any Cisco phone or dial 512-223-1790 from an outside
line
o If dialing from an outside line or a different extension than your own, press Star
(*) when the system answers, then enter your five-digit extension and press
Pound (#)
o Remember: your ID = your five-digit Extension
- Enter your PIN (Default PIN is 159357)
- Follow the prompts to set up your voicemail
o Record a Spoken Name (First and Last Name)
Press Pound (#) to continue
o Record a Personal Greeting (Standard Greeting)
Press 1 to record a new greeting
Press Pound (#) to continue
o Change your PIN
Must be six digits long
Press Pound (#) to confirm
PIN must be entered again to verify
Press Pound (#) to confirm
o Verify enrollment in the Directory
Press 1 to change listing status (disable/enable)

NOTE: For students to reach an adjunct instructor, they will do the following:
- Dial 512-223-1790
- Enter the five-digit extension for the instructor, then press Pound (#)
- They will be forwarded directly to the recorded voicemail greeting
