If you are aged 18 to 30 and are from one of 41 countries that has
a Working Holiday Scheme (WHS) agreement with New Zealand,
you may be able to obtain a WHS visa before you arrive. A WHS visa
allows you to visit and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months (23

Extend your working holiday
Those with a WHS visa who have already worked for 3 months in the
horticulture/viticulture industry in New Zealand can extend their visa
for a further 3 months. This means that if you work in horticulture or
viticulture, you can extend your stay in New Zealand to 15 months
(26 months for the UK).
