Setting up Fixed Asset Localizations in X3

The localization of the fixed assets can be defined through the setup of sites and
locations. These localizations can be useful for asset tracking as well as being
helpful when performing asset counts.

Step 1: Creating Fixed Asset Localizations

Go to Development/ Data and Parameters/ Definition of Misc Tables

Click on New
Create misc table 319 as shown in the screenshot below
Click on Create and then Validation
Perform the same exercise for misc table 311

Step 2: Populating the Misc Tables

Go to Development/ Data and Parameters/ Miscellaneous Tables

This menu will populate your options in the Asst Loc field when creating a
new fixed asset.
A common convention may be to populate misc table 319 with the buildings at
the work site and then populate misc table 311 with the floors. These
localizations can take on whatever meaning you find appropriate.
