In this article, Witmer is informing adults to teach their teens to time management skills [ This

sentence identifies the central thesis of the article]. She informs the reader with the benefits teens

will get if they learn how to manage their time, Some of the benefits are increased responsiblity and

better performance at school and work [This sentence identifies the benefts of managing your time].

Witmer has steps for parents to follow on teaching their children time management skills. She

believes it is important to be a good example or role model of having good time management skills.

She explains highly implies not to nag at your teen and to supply your teen with the materials he/she

needs to improve their time management [These two previous sentences explain the thesis of the

article]. This article provides a lot of steps parents and teens can take to improve time management

skills; It will help when making schedules for the group of people I will be interviewing [This

In this article, Bird introducing effective time management skills. [This sentence identifies the

central thesis of the article]. After reading the different steps Bird states in her article. She

mentions that 80% of the value of all planner systems effectivness comes from deciding when to

do something, deciding what day you intend to do it and regularly checking your planner [This

sentence explains a statistic she used]. Ultimaletly, she belives that planners are one of the most

important tool for effective time management. She recommends asking yourself when am I

going to do this?, while you ask this question to yourself you should think about everything that

is scheduled for the day [ The previous sentences above explain the thesis of the article]. This

article is relevant to my capstone project because it gives students an idea of where to start if

their trying to fix their time management. This can help with my project because I can ask my

group to keep a binder while I do my research.

In this article, Garey is informing adults and teens about sleep deprivation [This sentence shows

the thesis of the article]. After reading the article, Garey argue that adults/parents need to start

getting their kids into the habit of sleeping early so that when they get older they arent likely to

become sleep deprived [This sentence identifies the central thesis]. After going through the

whole article, Garey states that only 8 percent of American teenagers get the sleep they need

according to a recent study in the Journal of Adolescent Health [This sentence idenifies the

source used]. Garey argues that taking away any electronic device an hour before bed will help

them get to bed easier. She also believes that parentsshould be cosistent with their child sleeping

topic because not only is my capstone project about time management but it is also suppose to

help them manage their time so they dont become sleep deprived. I can use this in my project by

taking theidea of making my peer or people in my group get off their phone an hour before bed

In this article, Hughes informs the general public/audience of one of the new features you get

when you update your phone to IOS 10 [This sentence identifies the central thesis of the article].

After reading the article Hughes states that apple has came out with a new feature on iphones

updates. When you update to IOS 10 you get a new feature called BedTime [This sentence

supports the thesis of the article]. Hugher explains that with this new feature you are able to track

how much you sleep. You can customize the feature to remind you to go to bed at a certain time

whether it is before bed or the time you want to go to bed [The previous sentences above explain

feature may be a useful tool for students or adults who want to try to sleep a certain amount of

In this article, They are talking about making long term and short term schedules [This sentence

identifies the central thesis of the article]. After reading all the tips I noticed they are focusing on

really narrowing down the schedule even with giving your self specific time to eat. [ This

sentence supports the thesis of the article]. The author shows how to make different schedules for

different occasions such as a weekly schedule, a studying schedule, and also short term and long

term schedules. For all of the different schedules there are different steps. [The previous two

project because during the hours for the project I will be making individual personalized
