Nehru: The situation right now in our nation is fragile, how shall we consolidate the people with

different religions?
Gandhi: Better we stay annexed, our nation has had long history for more than a thousand years, we
must be united, learn from mistake! We were colonised once, the westerns could no longer invade us
if we stay strong!
Jinnah: I wouldnt think its possible, our muslim brothers in north west India wouldnt agree to live
under Hindu government.
Al-jazeera bulletin: Welcome to the indian sub continent in 2016, today, were looking at the conflict
zone on the north of india, recently, there have been reports that the indian troops are taking the
pakistani controlled border area. Things are getting worse every day. Mr. Gandhi, Jinnah and Nehru,
how should you deal with the situation?
Gandhi: I told you that Pakistan shouldnt have splitted, Look back in the history, our civilization lasted
for thousands of years, Muslim, Sikhs and Hindu had been living together.
Jinnah: Calm down my dear friend, how would it be peaceful if muslims stay in the same country with
Sikh and hindu? This is now the nation-state, muslims wouldnt agree to live under Hindu government,
we muslims shall have rights to exercise and practice our cultures.
Nehru: Well, I still see our relations even though cultures are quite different, but arent we sharing the
same national identities.
Jinnah: Forget about that, cant you see sikh and hindu being killed by radical muslim in Lahore,
partition is a win-win situation, both sides will be safe.
Gandhi: My proposal is to stay united, always united. Under the identity of India, if we separated, its
immediately rival, hatred will be worsened.
Nehru: Gandhi, I dont think people with different religions can longer stay together anymore, hatred is
on the rise, our neighbours who were good friends are now hostile because they have different faiths.
Gandhi: I believe in Satyagraha, innately, theres peace in everyones minds.
Jinnah: Definitely, not in this situations, believe me, partition is the only solution.
Nehru: How about this, Ill try to make Indian central government a more secular state, and to promote
peace and religious equality, we'll recruit muslim senators to respect muslims minorities.
Gandhi: Disagree!!!!!!
Narrator: Gandhi started to be frustrated, Nehru and Jinnah are fed of argueing with Gandhi who
always supported impractical non-violence movement. Nehru and Jinnah has planned to drug Gandhi
to sleep in order to make the agreement on partition.
Jinnah: I think we should separate our beloved country to avoid religious conflicts. Dont worry about
the war, we hope to remain allied diplomatically.
Nehru: Thats a good idea but do you think its possible?
Jinnah: Of course. Why not? Hindu people will get to live under Hindu government and muslim people
will get to live under muslim government. We will be able to practice our culture and stop people from
killing each other. Everyone will be happy.
Nehru: Thats good. So finally, we will be able to stop the religious conflicts and make everyone
happy.
Jinnah: From now on, India is not the same India anymore! Its the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on
the north west of India. We shall have our own government, laws and constitution.

Nehru: What about Kashmir? What should we do about it? We still dont have a solution for Kashmir
whether one of us take Kashmir or should we just leave them enjoy their independence.
Jinnah: I think that we should invite Hari Singh and Louis Mountbatten to discuss about what we
should do with Kashmir.
Mountbatten: So, we are here today to discuss about who will get Kashmir, right?
Jinnah: Thats right.
Hari Singh: Personally, as a hindu, I would like Kashmir to be annexed to India but that would cause
dissatisfaction among my muslim people.
Nehru: How about if India government grant Kashmir special authority, would your people agree on
that? And dont forget, the republic of India is a federal state, your laws wouldnt be regulated by us,
kashmiris would have freedom to practice islamic life.
Hari: Sounds great! But since Pakistan has now become an islamic republic, my people would think
that joining Pakistan would be better anyways.
Mountbatten: Im afraid there would be clashes among the people at the borders, keep in mind
terrorism in Kashmir, its very likely to happen.
Nehru: Ill make sure to put security force in action! If theres any sign of violence, curfew will be in
charge!
Al-Jazeera: Breaking! Narendra Modi has announced curfew in Kashmir, this causes civil
disobedience throughout the state, colleges are burnt down to protest the curfew!
Mountbatten: Im afraid curfew is not an option! What we need is peace in peoples mind, not the
force! How about this, we let Kashmir break free from both states so theres less tension between
Pakistan and India, no more conflict zone.
Jinnah: Hopefully, there would be no more conflict between us, we have got enough deaths.
Mountbatten:My proposal is to remain cordial relations to each other. I dont wanna see chaos within
the sub-continent once the british left. Its not a good image for us the british.
Nehru: Ill sign the ally treaty with Jinnah, we will collaborate our economy, well support peace, well
destroy terrorism.
Mountbatten: I would highly encourage that! Theres no point fighting against each other just because
of religions. Why not be allies?
Jinnah&Nehru: shakehand

-recruit muslim senates to india to promote laws that is compatible with muslims minorities
