A ndhra Pradesh State Centre of the Institution organized the Thirty-
second National Convention of Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineers and National Seminar on the theme Intelligent System for
More Connected World: Internet of Things during October 24-25, 2016 at
Vijayawada. The Chief Guest, Mr Gadde Ramamohanarao, MLA, Vijayawada
East, while speaking on the occasion said that IoT is creating new job
opportunities in important sectors like health, agriculture, power, etc and
thereby providing a boost to the cash strapped economy. He said that India
is poised to play the role of a global IoT hub and nurture a world-class
ecosystem for growth of IoT thereby promoting innovation and catalyzing
start-ups. Mr Ramamohanarao also spoke about the pro-IoT attitude and
initiatives of the Andhra Pradesh State Government. He expressed hope
