PROMOTING THE VISION: ”By the Year 2020 more visitors will be attracted to The Bahamas by Bahamian Art, Culture and
Heritage than by sun, sand and sea.”

MAX TAYLOR’S ‘REMNANTS’ opened to a huge appreciative crowd in spite of the inclement weather! Thanks
to all those who attended, including our visitor all the way from Holland! It was a wonderful evening! Max also
gave an extremely interesting demonstration of his woodcut printing technique (and several lucky persons were
able to try their hand at the process) as well as an informative Walk and Talk which revealed insight into his
work! We will feature those segments in next month’s Newsletter.
If you missed the Opening, don’t worry - you can still see the Exhibition which will be on display at #18 Village
Road until September 24, Monday—Friday 9am—5pm!
