Hidden Lines Not showing up in Paper Space

giacomettisabrina Explorer 12/8/11 |

HI There,

I am having this weird issue no one in my office can figure out. I am using an ltscale of 24, for my 1/2" scaled
elevations. My psltscale is at 0, as well as my msltscale. (i even tried these at one and no difference). My line type
in properties is 1. In model space the hidden lines look fine, but in viewport, they are looking continuous. I started
to play with the ltscale in paper space, and only 30000 ltscale worked, and only for large objects. When I go to print
preview the hidden lines work. I think there must be a setting issue????? HELP

In Paperspace set PSLTSCALE to 1 not zero.

1. Set LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE,PSLTSCALE & CELTSCALE all to 1. Highlight everything and set the linetype scale
properties to 1.

2. In paperspace first, load and test out several linetypes you think might be useful. Do NOT override their scales.
Try printing them out at 1:1 to check them, and then choose the ones that work for you.

2a. If you need a linetype that's at a different-looking scale from what you found, consider creating a custom one
that looks good at a scale of 1.

3. If your viewport is going to have a VP scale of 1/4"=1'-0", then when you draw in modelspce, set your
CANNOSCALE to 1/4" = 1'-0" before you draw lines. Magically, the lines will appear correctly scaled. Just as a test, if
you change your CANNOSCALE to 1/8" = 1'-0", the linetype scale will double. Modelspace is still a 1:1 drawing scale
environment, and that's the CANNOSCALE default. But setting it differently will let AutoCAD adjust the display scale
of annotation objects such as linetypes. You can change on the fly, so there should be no more instances of
modelspace and paperspace representations of linetypes looking different from each other, and no more need to
override scales :)

Maybe this could help:
Activate the viewport and set the PSLTSCALE to <0> and then REgen
