Please note that a Tax @ 20.6% (as per Indian income tax regulations ) will be
deducted from the prize money to be awarded to Foreign Players.
Please note that one player will be given one (higher) prize only.

Eligibility
Players having the FIDE rating of 1700 & below are only allowed to participate in
this event.

Entry Fee
For Delhi Players : Rs 2,500/- (No lodging will be provided)
For Outstation Players : Rs 3,500/-
(Including lodging for four nights on dormitory / double sharing basis)

No request towards waiver of entry fee will be entertained.

The last date of entry: 30th July 2014

Please note that this entry fee structure is valid only until 30th July 2014
Thereafter till 13TH August 2014 the participants will have to pay Rs. 500/- extra. Entries will
also be accepted at the venue till 16:00 Hrs ON 13TH AUGUST 2014.
Tournament Rules:
System of Play:
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System
with 9 rounds.
Time Control :

60 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1 for entire game.

Tie Break:

In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however
will not be shared.
Entry Form:

It is mandatory to forward the entry form in the given format for accepting the entries along
with prescribed entry fee. Organizers have the right to accept or reject any entry without
assigning any reason.

Entry Registration
All the entries to be forwarded along with entry form and entry fee by DD (Delhi Cheques
will also be accepted) favoring ROYAL CHESS ACADEMY, payable at Delhi. Address for
sending the entries is the IOS MAIDAN, SHIVAJI COLLEGE SPORTS COMPLEX,
RAJOURI GARDEN, NEW DELHI -110027.

AICF Registration:
AICF registration fee for 2014-15 is compulsory for all Indian participants. The
registration fee of Rs. 250/- will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the
players.
