Reflection on Second MCT feedback

My second observation lesson was much better than the first observation lesson to me, because

the suggestions for further development that I had in the first observation was developed in the

second one. The feedback was exampled with several points, the first one is the good planning

where I have plan the lesson more than 24 before, which helped me to organize all the materials

and the resources I need in the lesson.

A second point for strength was clear establishment of the rules and guidelines, before I started

my lesson I gave clear instructions for my gum machine strategy and the updates I have uploaded

which made it more effective.

A third point was that the learning was planned and managed well such as specifying the timing

for each activity, considering all aspects and clear transitions between activities were made.

Furthermore, he had commented on being well engaged with students and knowing how to deal

with them. For example, giving some reward speeches which had a really positive impact on

students achievements where I found them working harder after giving the positive comment.

Also the planning for activities and resources worked well where they were totally engaged

especially when I presented their work which considered a strength point as well. Because it

made them feel proud and interested in the topic, it either got some students who seemed

normally to not get interested in classes to do so which was good.

Another point of strength was a range of different activities were planned and implemented,

which I think the differentiation worked well and had the structure of the lesson going just like I

planned for.

Lastly, effective use of positive reinforcement was accomplished where I gave students some

good speeches when they answer well and show them that I appreciate their work. As well as for

giving each student the chance to answer, even for one student who was crying and I asked her to

answer and rewarded her in front of all students which made her stop crying and focus again on

the lesson.

For areas of development, He commented on that the controlling of group is quiet good.

However, a generate range of behavioral control techniques are needed which I think is

important too. So I will make sure that no one is going to get hurt or something.

In general, I was feeling relief for this observation, he have me a really positive comment which

is that I had an excellent lesson. This have made me want to achieve even more next times.
