EXPERIENCE
Conduct all public relations, marketing and recruitment of students including
program website and publications and liaise with partner institutions and
advisory committee.
Work closely with the JYF Program Director in Paris to ensure a safe, sound,
high-quality, consistent, and robust study abroad program for students;, to
articulate goals for linguistic proficiency and intercultural learning and to
develop tools to assess outcomes;
Advising: Advise approximately 300+ students yearly in all class years on off-
campus study, internships, scholarships, foreign visas, and post-graduate
opportunities.
Communication: Develop and promote a continuum of 20-25 mostly student-
led and student-oriented information, pre-departure, and reentry programs,
workshops, and events including an off-campus study fair attended by 35
Advise approximately 300 students in all class years through every step
of the off-campus study application cycle as well as on financial aid,
scholarships, foreign visas, domestic exchanges, Colby and Non-Colby
programs, summer and January term opportunities.
Monitor and support students ongoing health, welfare and safety while
abroad, respond to student emergencies, and implement risk
management and emergency protocols.
