Beforestartingthesetup,youneedtoverifyyourInternetconnectiontypeandrelatedinformation.

ConnectoneendofanEthernetcabletoyourcomputerandtheotherendtoanEthernetportatthebackofD301/D151.

Step3:

Checktheindicatorsonthefrontpanel.EnsurethatthePWRison,theSYSandDSLareblinking,theLANportwhichyouhavepluggedtheEthernetcableintoisonor
blinking,andWLANisonorblinking.

Beforeloggingintothewebbasedsetuppage,youshouldverifythatyourcomputerhasobtainedavalidIPaddress.ForinstructionsonhowtoobtainaproperIP
address,clickhereforhelp.

LaunchawebbrowserlikeInternetExplorer,Firefox,Safari,etc.,enterdefaultIPaddress192.168.1.1intheaddressbar,andthenpress[Enter].

Note:IfyouvechangedthedefaultIPaddress,youshouldentertheoneyouchangedto.YouwillthenbedirectedtoaTendawebbasedsetuppageasthefollowing
picture.

Thereare2waystosetupyourInternetconnection:

i.SetupInternetconnectionintheinitialpage.

ii.SetupInternetconnectioninAdvancedpage.

SetupInternetconnectionintheinitialpage

Step1:

SelectyourcountryandyourISP.VPIandVCIfieldswillbepopulatedautomaticallyinthisway.

Step2:

SelectyourInternetconnectiontypecorrectlyandcompletetherestoftheinformationbyenteringtherequesteddetailsforDSLSettings,likeaccountInformationorIP
informationprovidedbyyourISP(InternetServiceProvider).

Step3:

InSecurityKey,setapasswordwithlettersornumbersormixed.

EntertheVPIandVCIvalues,selectaDSLLinkType(Internetconnectiontype),leaveotheroptionsunchangedfromfactorydefaultsandclickApply/Saveatthebottom
ofthepage.

Step4:

Intheleftmainmenu,selectWANServiceunderAdvancedSetup.ClickAddbutton.

Dependingonthetypeofconnection,youwillcometodifferentscreensandbepromptedtoentertherestoftheinformationforDSLSettings,likeaccountInformationor

i.PowercycletheTendadeviceandyourcomputer.

ii.ResettheTendadeviceandchecktheessentialinformationfromyourInternetServiceProvider.

PowercycletheTendadeviceandyourcomputer

Step1:

UnplugthepoweradapterfromtheTendadeviceandshutdownyourcomputer.

Step2:

PowerontheTendadevice,waitforitslightson,andthenturnonthecomputer.

ResettheTendadevice

FindaWPS/RSTbuttononthebackpaneloftheTendadeviceandholddownitforabout10seconds.Duringwhichtime,youwillfindthatalltheindicatorsturnoffand
severalofthemwillbackonlater.AllofthecustomizedsettingsoftheD301/D151willbeerasedafterresetting.
