Southern Staircase to Open Coastal Carolina Division

Atlanta, Georgia-based custom stair and handrail provider expands operations in the Carolinas.

Charleston, SC, April 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Custom staircase and handrail provider Southern Staircase
announces the opening of its new Coastal Carolina division in Charleston, SC. Based in Alpharetta, just
north of Atlanta, Georgia, the organization operates additional locations across the Carolinas including
Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, and Greensboro, NC.

Leading the Coastal Carolina team will be Al Mund, General Manager. A seasoned staircase professional
with over 30 years of industry experience, Mund began working for Southern Staircase in the mid-1980s
as one of the company's first employees. Before briefly leaving the organization to pursue other interests
during the economic downturn, Mund gained invaluable experience and was an integral team member,
with roles in sales and operations as well as leading the startups of several satellite facilities. Mund is
teamed up with Brant Dambman based out of the Myrtle Beach location.

We are very excited for the opportunity to re-enter the Charleston market, says Southern Staircase
President, Randy Scott. In 2011, due to the economic downturn, we were disappointed by the need to
close our Charleston operation. Today, with Al's expert leadership, we look forward to returning to the
Lowcountry to support local builders as they strive to meet the rapidly growing demand for custom
construction in the area.
