offered to boys. Girls in Haiti are likely to face
educational, economic, health, and social disparities
compared to boys. Imagine what empowering girls in
Haiti can do. Girls who are empowered become a
force for good for their families, communities, church,
nation, and the world. This spring we are proud to be
taking action to improve the lives of girls so that they
may become change agents for the world. The Girl
Power Haiti Campaign runs until the end of May. Get

face this injustice daily. Join us in beating this injustice!
#GirlPowerHaiti

Imagine being restricted from flying a kite. Girls in

Haiti face this injustice daily. Each spring, boys in Haiti
make and fly kites while their sisters are at home
performing household duties like cooking, cleaning,
and carrying water. Thats no fun! The fact that girls in
Haiti are told they cannot fly kites shows that there is
harsh discrimination against women and girls in this
country. We at Beyond Borders are determined to fight
this discrimination and you can help us. Watch this
video below to learn more about girls flying kites in
Haiti! You can also learn more and join our movement
