code.Bellowsealedbonnetisalsoprovidedincaseofvalvesusedinlethalservices.Thereare
twobasicbellowsealdesignsavailable.Thesameisexplainedunderplugvalves.

Thevalvesshallbeoperatedbywrenchorbyhandwheelwithgeararrangement.Thewrench
shallbedesignedsothatitisparalleltotheflowpassageoftheball.Thevalveshallbeclosed,
byturningthewrenchorthehandwheelinaclockwisedirection.Thelengthofthe
wrenchorthediameterofthehandwheelshallbesuchthattheminimumforceisrequiredto
operatethevalveunderthemaximumdifferentialpressure.
Whenaddedemissioncontrolisrequiredadditionalpackingandleakoffportareoptionsthat
canbeadded.

Thevalvehavingpressurebalancediscalleddynamicallybalancedplug.M/sAudcocalled
thesetypesofvalvesasSuperHpressurebalancedvalves.Thebreakawaytorquerequired
tooperatethesevalvesarelowerthan(almosthalf)thatforthereducedportballvalves.
