This article explains how MRI-based imagining techniques are just as

effective as other scanning approaches. The medical reporter who
wrote the article provides studies from doctors claiming that MRIs are
not only as effective, they also avoid heavy radiation exposure to
patients throughout the scanning. I plan on using this source while
discussing how MRIs are the most efficient way to scan patients and
gain information on the patients condition.

imagining? UCSF Medical Center. Retrieved from

This article compares the pros and cons of using an MRI vs. a CT for
brain scanning. The academic article written by a doctor from the
University of San Francisco suggest the general guidelines doctors use
to determine which scanning technique is better to use. I will use this
article to provide patients on more information explaining how MRIs are
the best option when getting an examination.

This website article gives an overview on the whole procedure of an

MRI. It describes why it is done, the risks, the preparation, what you can
expect from the procedure, and the results. The doctors and physicians
that wrote the article have a lot experience and want patients to feel as
knowledgeable as possible about MRIs before they have their
examination. This source will be useful for my paper because I will
inform the readers on what a MRI before explaining why one should get
an MRI over other scanning techniques.

brainstem with structural and functional MRI. Frontiers. Retrieved from

This editorial article investigates the human brain using an MRI. The
brain surgeons wanted explore the unknown area of the brain with the
help of an MRI. This article will be used in my paper in order to explain
to patients that MRI are very useful for scanning not only the brain but
also most of the body.

This website further explains what an MRI is and all the components of the examination.
It further reassure patients that MRIs are safe. Doctors who have seen multiple patients
support the information and recommend patients to read about MRIs and ask question
before their examination. The information will be used as a tool to insure patients that
MRI are the most efficient scanner.
