DATA ANALYSIS PROJECT 2

Executive Summary

With the rise of the Internet, cyberbullying has made a distinct

presence. Surveys were distributed and filled out by volunteers which

included male and female participants ages 18-29. After analyzing the data,

we found that the average participant was a 19-year-old female in their first

year of college. The data revealed that the two most common social media

platforms that students use were Facebook and Snapchat. A majority of the

respondents said they checked Facebook and Snapchat several times a day.

The average participant was then asked if they take part in cyberbullying.

The average response was no, but then admitted that their friends have

been cyberbullied. When students were asked what the biggest ethical issue

was on social media, the most common response was that they didnt think

there were any. If participants did respond they said the biggest ethical issue

was that people cyberbully.

DATA ANALYSIS PROJECT 3

Summary:

The graph shows the distribution of active social media sites used. The

results show that Facebook is still the leader in social media sites followed by

Snapchat. With the rising use of smart technology, the use of smart apps has

risen and trends show that Twitter and Instagram have become popular

social media sites in recent years. However, apps and websites such as

YikYak, Tinder, Fade, and Splash, have little to no use or exposure.

DATA ANALYSIS PROJECT 4

Summary:

The graph shows that there tends to be more female users on social

media rather than males. The trends of social media show that there are

actively over 120 females engaging in social media and less than 60 males

engaging in social media content from this sample.
