 Children and Teen Ministry
Our mission is to partner with parents in bringing children into a
relationship with Jesus Christ and equipping them to share the love of
God with others in word and deed.
Glory Tots-Sunday during worship children under 5 are welcome in
the nursery for fun and learning. Each Sunday offers a Bible story
and/or activity for the children at their age level.
Glory Kids- Children age 5-12 are welcomed into their own worship
experience during the regular service. Children will be given an
opportunity to worship God and hear stories from God’s Word. The
children are also coached in smaller groups to pray and explore the
intersection of life and faith.
Youth Group- Teens age 12-18 are welcome every Friday night for
opportunities to learn and exercise their faith. The Bible is studied,
topics are discussed and connections are made with other youth.
Every evening is begun with a time to worship God with contemporary
and favourite praise songs.
Worship Arts- Young people interested in worshipping through dance
and drama are equipped to communicate the gospel in beautiful and
God honouring ways.

Worship Ministry
Our mission is to grow higher in the praise of God in a way that
honours and extols His love. Our worship reaches out as it reaches up
being led by the Spirit and guided by Scripture. Our worship style
could be described as blended, incorporating the best hymns from the
past and songs of the present.
How can you be involved?
Praise Team- Singers and musicians who lead the congregation in
worship.
Seasonal Choir- a group of music lovers who meet during the year to
share their love for song with the congregation. No audition required.
Audio/Visual Technician- run the computer and sound board.
Reader’s- Gifted reader’s who lead the reading of scripture or other
seasonal readings.
Prayer- those who would like to lead the congregation in Intercessory
Prayer.
Worship Arts- those interested in communicating the gospel through
dance or drama.
Special Music- those who would like to share a song through
instrument or voice.

 Discipleship/Teaching Ministries
Our knowledge of the Lord and our relationship to Him grows deeper
only as we spend time in His Word, the Bible. We recognize that
everyone is at a different stage in their faith and so we offer several
opportunities for growth. We are also always open to new groups
forming to fit our schedules and needs.
Bible Studies:
Tuesday @ 7:30 PM: A relatively intensive study of Scripture
Wednesday @ 10:30 AM: A women’s Study on Topics and Scripture
Thursday @ 7:30 PM: “Back to Basics” An introductory study of
Scripture going through the entire Bible.
Seminars and Retreats: Several seminars and a retreat are offered
each year for faith development.

Prayer Ministry
When God’s family gets together for prayer or prays as one we
strongly believe that this prayer is powerful and effectiveness. There
are several ways you can participate and have your requests made
known.
We have a prayer chain consisting of Elders who will remember your
requests in their daily prayers. If you have a need for prayer contact
one of the Elders and they will pass the request through the chain.
Every Sunday morning there is a table at the rear of the worship hall
where you can have your requests made known for the Intercessory
prayer during worship.
We meet regularly for prayer for individuals, our community and
congregation. Refer to the bulletin for the time of these prayer
meetings.
We also have a “prayer wall” in the hallway where information about
prayer events and prayer helps can be found.
Mercy Ministry
Though we joyfully invite every person to faith in Jesus, we are
committed to sacrificially serving our neighbours whether they believe
as we do or not. We do this by using our gifts and resources for the
needs of others.
Food Bank- everyone is encouraged to give non-perishable food items
to help those who request assistance. When there is a surplus of food
items they are given to local charitable organizations. If you are in
need of food assistance do not feel ashamed to ask—we are here for
you.
Benevolence- When a need in the congregation or community is
identified the Elders offer assistance to those in need as we are able.

Why get involved?
We are glad you asked! By God’s Grace this church exists to help you
reach your fullest potential in Jesus Christ. In other words, we know
God has a purpose for you being here and we want to be used by God
to help fulfill God’s purposes in you. The best ways to do this is to get
involved in a congregation of believers who can encourage and
challenge you in your faith and discern God’s ultimate desire for you.
Sunday morning(corporate) worship is essential to your faith
development but it can never be the sum total. It would be like trying to
play a piano with more than half the keys missing. We encourage
everyone to engage in a variety of spiritual disciplines for our mutual
benefit and the building of our faith so that together we can make
music that glorifies God.
