This I believe

Night Battle

Spirituality is a connection concept share by all the cultures according to religion, history

and personal beliefs. In contemporary society spirituality means that people are completely

detached from the materialistic and superficial matters. In this modern society, the most

spirituality people shared is that they believe in God. When you ask around you if they believe in

sorcerer; the answer is: no, they are just a fantasy characters in Hollywood.

However a lot of cultures around the world have their own myths and legends about

wizards, sorcerers and astral travel. As for me, I believe in the fight between common person and

sorcerers. Its something strange, but my spirituality permits me to believe in that. I can tell my

story; you may not believe it, but its true.

I never taught one day I gone tell my story about all the spiritual fights happened in my

life. I was sixteen when I realize that something going on in the night in my room. I ask myself if

all this happened or it is just a teenager imagination. When I was kid, my mother told my

brothers and I that we have to be careful; sorcerer can catch you in the night when you sleeping.

Our world are divide between those who known how to use spiritual power and those who are
simple human being. I did not really understand what she talking about until I have my own

experience.

We heard stories about sorcerers and their evil powers; are there true? Maybe yes. At that

time of my life my Christian faith did not allow me to believe in their real existence. In one night

my life and my faith changed. In our culture sorcerer can ruin your life in one night even kill

you.

In 1995, I begun having a lot of bad nights, every night I woke up the all the family with

my strange attitude and my screams in the night. When my parents asked me questions, I could

answer. Why, on that time I do not know. I listening a program on radio where some experts in

African occult sciences talk about sorcerers, astral travel, and evil powers. That program gave me

the way to understand what happened to me in my sleeping. First my dreams were not, there

were spiritual fights, second my body felt the pain of the fights. One night I was chase by a dog

with red eyes; after I saw myself in another place fighting with a person I do not know. I was

hurt on my left arm, when I woke up I have a big scarf puff up at the same arm, very painful. The

most important thing I notice is that a fight I was completely weakling; incapable to do anything.

Gradually with the radio program, I understood what happened to me in the night. Now I

believed in spiritual fight in the night: something I never taught accepted. That night I was afraid

and panicked; because I heard voice, deep voice who make any human being think the worst. In

the morning I told what happened to my mother. Her answer surprises me and let me without

words. I asked my mother; she told me has the same experience when she was twenty six years

old: my child I was a fighter too. When she said that, I asked her; why you kept the silence on

that. Any fighter has to discover her strength fight after fight; and find the key to end up with the

sorcerer. Now my beliefs in spiritual fights were true.

 I keep listening to the program on radio. I learnt more about spirituality and other thinks

about sorcerer attacks and manipulations. More than that, I questioned my friends at school about

sorcerers attacks and manipulations. They laugh at me and said: woke up we all known about

that. They gave me information about what they lived at the nigh, and say that sorcerer can made

you sick; blind, impotent even eat your womb. When they finished telling some part of their

story I have more proofs of my belief.

In 2000 after many fight and more lessons from the experts on radio program, I became

stronger and try to find the key my mother told me about. Another fight, but this time the fight

was different, the place was so strange. Much time before, I tried to find the key but I couldnt.

For some reasons I stopped searching for the key and focus on being spiritually stronger.

In the other hands, I found the way to protect my body from the pain. I put under my pillow

coarse salt.

For all these years and all these fights, I was able to take over the sorcerers attacks.

Thinking of that longue period, I finally found the way to end up of those fights. In 2005 I

travelled to my native country. Over there only one way can made have my spiritual key and

finally close the door to the sorcerers. I met a spiritual guide who helps me reveal to myself my

fate. In that initiative process, I discovered the reason why it was me and not my brothers the

victim of the sorcerers. According to our culture one of the children of the family must be the

spiritual protector of the family: I am the protector.

At the end of my initiation, my spiritual guide told me that now I was able to definitely

end the fights and see in the darkness like in the day. A few months after I have a clear vision of

what he said. In the night, I saw seven shadows around me trying to cut me into pieces. At that
moment I felt confident and told them: now I know what to do with you, I was not afraid

anymore, leave now or I exposed you. Suddenly my room was very light and they all disappear.

That night I sleep like a baby. Since that day I am able to know when I was under an attack.

This is my belief; it is strange and seems like a fantasy. But when you share the same

culture with me; you will believe in the fight in the night with the sorcerer.
