Please Note
Erotic hypnosis is an interest that intersects with a wide variety of others. Charmed! is a sex-
positive, open learning environment that welcomes everyone who is into erotic hypnosis either by
itself or as a complement to their other interests. Not every activity or class at Charmed! will
appeal to every attendee, and that's okay; use your own good judgment in deciding which events
you want to attend and allow others the freedom to do the same.
Our schedule may have changed slightly from what is presented in

this program. This QR code will take you directly to the posted
schedule grid on our website, where any last-minute changes will be
included.
Event Rules and Policies
We want to create a space in which you can be yourself and express your individual kink
while at the same time maintaining a good working relationship with the hotel and the
public. These rules are intended to help ensure that we can meet that goal. Unless
otherwise noted, violation of any of these rules may, at the discretion of the Con Committee,
be cause for expulsion from Charmed without refund.
Even though Charmed has exclusive use of specific parts of the hotel, it is important to
remember that we are sharing the venue with hotel staff and their other patrons not related
to our event. The event hotel and the conference organizers expect everyone to dress and
behave appropriately meaning, in a manner that is generally accepted in public places in
the public spaces of the hotel. Please refrain from involving others in our scene.
You must be at least 18 years old and a registered and paid-up attendee to be in Charmed
Con space or exclusive Charmed hotel floors and rooms. Minors and persons allowing
minors to enter will be ejected.
The Charmed staff reserve the right to remove any person who, in its sole discretion, is
found to be endangering the event, its participants or the hotel, or who violates the event
rules. No refunds will be given for participants who are ejected from the event.
Guiding Principles
The interpretation and enforcement of these event rules are governed by these principles:
1. Confidentiality What goes on at Charmed is PRIVATE. Not everyone is, or can be,
open and out. All attendees, staff, and volunteers are expected to be discreet and to
maintain the confidentiality of everyone attending the event.
2. Consent All activity at Charmed involving hypnosis, NLP, or other influence
techniques must only be conducted with the informed prior consent of all
participants. Covert Hypnosis or Covert NLP techniques are not allowed at Charmed,
even in private spaces. Any violation of this principle will be addressed by the Con
Committee as a high priority matter. Consensual non-consent scenes need to be
discussed with the dungeon monitors before they start.
3. Community This event is being held by and for the erotic hypnosis/BDSM
community, and we expect all attendees, staff, and volunteers to act as good citizens
of that community.
Public Areas
The public areas of the hotel are defined as any space that is not explicitly designated as
Con Space. This includes, but is not limited to, the upper and lower hotel lobbies; the
hallways, elevators, stairs, and stairwells; public restrooms, restaurant, and the entire bar
area. In general, if people who are not attendees of the event or hotel staff can be in an
area, it should be considered a public area.

While in public space, please maintain a vanilla appearance and conduct. All clothing in
public spaces must cover breasts, nipples, genitals, and buttocks. Collars may be worn at
your discretion. Refrain from using or displaying toys, engaging in erotic hypnosis activities,
or any other conduct that may attract attention from people who are not part of our event
or that would be considered inappropriate in any other public space. In particular, do not
conduct erotic hypnosis demonstrations or activities, or use triggers, while in public space.
Do not perform even vanilla hypnosis demonstrations with anyone who may be underage or
who does not explicitly ask to be hypnotized.
Please be respectful of the hotel staff. They are here to help us in any way they can but they
are not part of our event or our community.
Under the laws of Maryland, a person is prohibited from smoking in indoor areas open to
the public, indoor place where meetings are open to the public, in government-owned or
government-operated means of mass transportation including buses, vans, trains, taxicabs,
and limousines as well as in indoor place of employment.
If you do smoke, please request a smoking room. The hotel will charge a cleaning fee to
attendees who smoke in a non-smoking room. The attendee who books the room, not
Charmed!, is exclusively responsible for that fee. Smoking rooms are not available on the
exclusive Charmed Hotel Floors.
The legal drinking age in Maryland is 21. Anyone serving alcohol to people under 21 will be
expelled from the convention, as will the underage drinker. No alcohol is allowed in any Con
Space. If you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave
Con Space.
Restrooms provided in public areas of the hotel are public space. You should treat them as
you would restrooms in any public area such as a shopping mall or restaurant.
Con Space
Con Space is defined as the areas of the hotel that are set aside for the exclusive use of our
event. These areas are the meeting rooms beyond Security, where classes and play take
place; the private floors set aside exclusively for Charmed attendees; and any other area
designated as Con Space through signage.
Event staff, volunteers, and hotel security will be on hand to ensure the privacy of Con
Space. All security personnel have the authority to step in and stop any inappropriate
behavior. We hope that no such incidents occur, and we thank you in advance for helping us
to create a friendly, safe environment for everyone.
When in Con Space attendees, staff, and volunteers are expected to adhere to the Con rules
and basic BDSM etiquette, including:
1. Display your event badge at all times while in Con Space because this is how we can
recognize who is authorized to be in the space. If you see someone in Con Space
without a badge please alert event staff or event security.
2. Always obtain consent/permission before initiating a scene or trance of any kind. If
someone says no, accept No gracefully and do not ask again. Strict enforcement of

this requirement is key to creating and maintaining a safe environment. If you wish to
do a consensual non-consent scene, advise the DM or Con staff prior to starting so
that there will be no misunderstandings.
3. Respect peoples scenes. Do not interrupt a scene in progress or attempt to join in
unless invited to do so. If you suspect something is wrong with a scene, speak to the
DM and let them exercise their judgment.
4. Respect people who are in conversation. It is very rude to trigger someone into
trance, even if they gave prior consent, while they are in the middle of a conversation
with someone else.
5. Absolutely no photography or sound recording of any kind is permitted in Con Space,
even if everyone in the photo/recording gives consent.
6. Cell phone usage for phone calls or texting is allowed, but all attendees are asked to
be respectful of the privacy and comfort of the other attendees. Do not use the
phone camera in con space. If you see someone violating this rule, please alert con
staff or event security.
7. Alcohol and drugs (particularly prescription or illegal drugs) are not permitted in Con
Space. They do not mix withhypnosis, and Charmed is open to attendees who are
below the legal drinking age in Maryland (21). Prescription drugs may not be shared.
Marijuana, medical or otherwise, is also prohibited in Con Space. Public drunkenness
(defined at the discretion of the con staff) will result in your being sent back to your
room to sober up.
8. Smoking is prohibited throughout Con Space. None of the Con Space areas are
smoking areas; if you feel the need to smoke, you will need to go outside and away
from the hotel entrance. This is a public area, so public area rules apply.
9. Solicitation for paid sexual/BDSM/erotic hypnosis services, including pro dom/sub
activities, is not permitted. Violators will be removed from the event without refund.
10. Weapons, including (but not limited to) stun guns, tasers, firearms (including realistic
replicas and toys) are not permitted in con space. This is a matter of Maryland law as
well as Con safety. Please note that some toy bags either are, or strongly resemble,
gun cases and may cause concern from the hotel staff, so please use another type of
case to carry your toys in.
Private Space
Private spaces are defined as areas that are not generally accessible to the public or to Con
attendees. The hotel rooms are private space.
Generally you can do anything you wish in private space within the bounds of consent and
legality. However, the Maryland drinking age is still 21. Do not serve alcohol to people under
21. If you have alcohol in your room are are having a party, keep it out of view.
Please be respectful of the condition of the room. Any damage to the hotel room will be the
sole responsibility of the attendee(s) who registered for the room.

Restroom Policy
Charmed staff make no judgment on gender for the restrooms provided inside Con Space.
Please feel free to use the facilities with which you feel most comfortable. Maryland law
explicitly defines a person's gender in terms of that person's consistent and sincere
expression of sexual identity based on appearance, expression or behavior, regardless of
biological sex at birth.
Vending
Only authorized vendors may vend at Charmed. Anyone vending without permission of the
Charmed Committee will be removed from the event without refund. Please see our
Vendors list later in this program.

Hours: 9pm 1am (Fri and Sat only)
Clothing: No Nudity (liquor license rules). Nipples and private areas must be covered (tape
on nipples and thong is fine).
Food/Drink: Water only
7th Floor
Hours: 9pm-2am (Fri and Sat)
Clothing: Nudity is allowed in the halls Fri and Sat ONLY from 9pm-2am ONLY.
Working with the staff

While the hotel staff has dealt with many kink events over the years, please take care to
avoid making them part of your scene intentionally or accidentally. On the 7th floor in
particular, please avoid room service during the 'naked hours'.
Same goes for any food delivery staff.
NonEvent guests
Please be discrete in your dress, discussions near nonevent guests, and interactions with
nonevent guests.
If asked about the event, please just tell them it is simply a 'Hypnosis Conference'.
NOTE: The ability of any event to use this (or any) hotel hinges on our ability to exercise
discretion.

Each track is a group of classes whose topics fit a common theme, such as the 101 track for
beginners or the Hypnosis and BDSM track for those who are interested in blending
hypnosis with BDSM activities.
You are not obligated to stay with any particular track, of course. Choose what you want to
attend based on your own needs and desires.

Bad drop can turn the best scene/conference opportunity into a sour memory. Worse- when it's
needed most, we are at our least rational and secure. Prevention can be the best cure. Come learn
how to ease, if not eliminate aftercare confusion and drop for scenes and the event weekend. Learn
to ask the right questions of yourself and the ones you play with, how to provide your own aftercare,
and own the experiences you choose to have. Become a responsible subjects and help make sure
everyone remembers the experience positively, before during and after (the parts you haven't
happily hypnotically erased at least). Come to this class BEFORE you get caught up in the event
awesomeness.

doll play and create one! The fuck doll to the robot, the rag to the action figure, the puppet to the
wind up. Leave your preconceived notions at the door about what a doll's can be. They can be shells
waiting to be filled, over and over again. We will talk about creating a doll and there will be a crazy
demonstration of putting ideas into play! Attendees should come willing to share their creativity and
imagination and if possible with a partner to try out some enjoyable techniques. Please come with
an item that inspires the hypnotop/ hypnobottom in filling the tabula rasa (blank slate.) Come on

In this demo, I'll go over how to fractionation and confusion to make the induction process a fun and
sadistic scene on its own. Then, we'll go on to applying that sense of being overwhelmed and out of
place in trance, utilizing everything from the subject's sense of hearing to the solidity of the ground
beneath their feet.

Connecting Through Touch

We use touch so many ways in our lives: to get someone's attention, to express compassion, to
convey anger, to comfort, and so much more. How often are we actually conscious of our intent
when we touch? In this hands-on workshop we will focus on using touch consciously to create
connection. Drawing on Beth's background in massage, energy healing, childbirth support, hypnosis
and more, we will explore how touch can enhance our connection and communicate on a much
deeper level. Come with a partner or on your own. Dress comfortably and feel free to bring any
props that will make it easier for you to relax. Most importantly, come with your mind open to new
ways to use touch with your partners or even with yourself.

Do you have a favorite hypno-toy to trance out to? Maybe you enjoy light machines. Perhaps youre
fascinated with facets and light flecks in a crystal. Or maybe its a sound app that you enjoy relaxing
to. This class will explore all manners of hypno-toys and the places you can find them. Well explore
everything from the dollar store finds to the pricey light and sound machines in this playful class.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite hypnotic crystals, pendants, phone apps, devices
and toys as we will explore inductions via these methods.

together! Let's get creative with our trance techniques! In this class we will "riff" on different ideas

deviousness, and probably also silliness. This is a class that will help synthesize your knowledge of
hypnosis and help you feel comfortable adapting your techniques to fit the needs of any situation.

Empower Yourself as a Subject

Connect with other subjects and discuss issues common to subjects in a safe space. Being a hypnotic

Hypnosis and Consensual Non-Consent

Mind control. Helplessness. Brainwashing. Being a Svengali. Rape play. Many of us fantasize about
having our will taken from us, being forced to do things, or about being the one doing the

risk-aware, consensual way? This is a class for both subjects and 'tists, where we will talk about the
particular concerns, complexities, and ways to frame this kind of edgy play--for the thorough

Hypnosis and D/s

Fantasies about hypnosis often include asymetric power dynamics. While not a necessary part of
hypnosis, the role of hypnotist is often considered dominant, and the subject as submissive. We will
explore the reality of hypnosis versus the fantasy of D/s and how both short and long term play can

combination of how you use your voice, your words, your body, and your knowledge makes
each hypnotist unique and distinguishes the best from the average. You could learn this
through years of trial and error, or you can let Wiseguy give you a head start.

UnConference Classes
We have blocked out 9 am to noon on Sunday morning to share knowledge and experiment
with hypnosis together using an UnConference approach. An UnConference is a peer-to-
peer, open-space learning environment, where we share curiosity and knowledge in the way
thats right for right now.
Have you ever been to a conference or class and realized that important knowledge came
from off the curriculum from conversations with other students, or via an offhand remark
by a teacher that gave you a new perspective? UnConferences support that kind of learning.
Theres just enough structure to make it all work. The participants generate the topics, the
facilitators help find space and time. There may be sessions with discussions, hands-on
practice, or a single person talking for some period long or short - any format can be used.
Its fine if you just want to go to sessions other people suggest. Still, anyone can introduce a
discussion topic, whether it is something theyd like to share or something theyd like to
know. One caveat though: we cant guarantee that a teacher will come forward. No one has
to teach.
We are confident that there will be lots of learning and exploring. We have chosen to
schedule our UnConference late in the weekend because we know that there will be lots of
new ideas sparked by the classes on Saturday and Friday.
There arent many rules in an Unconference but here are a few:
1. What happens at the UnConference is what is supposed to happen.
2. Who comes to the UnConference is who is supposed to be there.
3. The law of two feet. If a session isnt working for you, you just leave. No problems, no
challenges and no heckling. Thank you for taking care of yourself.
UnConferences start with the creation of the grid. We will have a chart with our session
spaces and times and will make that available on Saturday in the interest of time. Anyone
may post a topic on that grid that they'd like to either lead or attend. We encourage you to
think of topics that are small plate style and add them to the grid.
Our grid will be marked in half-hour increments, but UnConference sessions take as long as
they need. If thats only 20 minutes (or 5) , the next session can start a little early. The
current time will be marked by a sign that says ISH. The only hard limits are the start and
end times of 9 and 12.
All this hectic self-expression is overseen by two benevolent dictators, Cu_faoil and
TernAbout. Well be checking in the spaces, seeing how things are going, getting new
sessions started as others end and moving the ISH signs. If we have to ask a session to
wrap up we will, but we hope we dont have to except when the UnConference ends at noon.
If sessions are still going, we encourage you to get lunch together and keep sharing your
knowledge.

Driving Tips
Navigating the area is not difficult, but there are some things you should be aware of:
Maryland Live! Casino generates a LOT of traffic. Traveling around the mall (which is
adjacent to the casino) can be slow and painful when the casino is busy.
Red light cameras are used extensively in Maryland and there are several in the area
around our venue.
If you drive down into Montgomery County MD or the District of Columbia, speed
cameras and red light cameras are very common.
Flying Home
If you are flying home from BWI Marshall Airport, the typical check-in and security time,
depending on the airline, tends to be about 90 minutes on a holiday weekend. Plan to reach
BWI two hours before your flight's scheduled departure.
