Student Teaching Practicum 4th-6th Grade
o Created and implemented lesson and unit plans utilizing content standards and goals of
the Common Core and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for Social Studies that
made learning cumulative and engaging for the class of 9 students.
o Used information from Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to plan strategies for
providing accessible curriculum for students in the classroom by using visual aids,
behavior charts and a check-in system.
o Differentiated classroom instruction and modified lessons using assistive technology to
meet the needs of the individual students in the class.
o Evaluated students performance by implementing informal assessments based off my
own and their learning objectives.
