Wikipedia, page for an American of their
choice. This will measure their note taking
skills and using wikispaces.com, they can
communicate with each other and even share
notes. Once the students have selected their
groups subject, they will engage in research.

group wiki. Wikispaces is a tool that
allows for collaboration through
discussion boards and the creation of a
group wiki page.
Directions for Use 1. Log into your e-mail and check your
inbox for WIKI INVITE.
2. Accept the invite by clicking on the
link in the e-mail.
3. Once you are at your group page.
Check the introductions tab to see
what your group members have to
say.
4. Then comment with your own
introduction.
5. When everyone has been
introduced, make sure that you
provide the name of a historic
figure you are interested in making
a Wikipedia Page, about.
6. Come to a democratic decision and
then research that figure.
7. Make sure to collaborate on notes
as well by sharing good information
you find on the discussion tab at
the top of the home page.
8. Then choose the information and
graphics that you want to include in
your group Wiki.
9. Click the Page tab next to the
discussion tab and get started.
Make sure that everyone adds
something to each section.
10. There is a tab bar at the top
of this screen that will allow you to
add things to the page such as text
or pictures.
11. Then click the save button
when finished and print the final
product.
