Attention Getter- We wouldnt have the technology we have today if it wasnt for

NASA. During the Space race, new technology was invented such as TVs and satellites. It was
all needed to communicate with astronauts in space before eventually developing satellite
communications technology in the 1960s.

Credibility: Hello everyone, my name is Cristian Arias and I have been researching on
this topic since my junior year in high school. I have educated students here in harding high
school about the importances of NASA.

Audience Relevance: It is very important to understand just how valuable NASA is.
With the technology NASA created to what we have today, just imagine how it can evolve even
more in the near future.

Preview Points: I will discuss the important points on why we should continue to fund
NASA. First i will talk about how NASA can create more jobs and careers. Second will be how it
benefit us in the long run. Last but not least just the possibilities and knowledge space can give
us.

Transition to Point 1: Let's discuss about how NASA provides jobs and careers.

Subpoint 1: People with Degrees in science would be graduating and soon would be
looking for jobs/careers. Subpoint 2: Ensuring the stability and availability of the ISS through
2024 will instill confidence in the science community that the ISS platform will be available for
important, long-term research endeavors Subpoint 3: This gives NASA a reason to start hiring
people who have their degree in science to be employed.

Transition : Next i will discuss about how it benefit us.

Subpoint 1: Throughout the research conducted in a space station, they have created
devices that improved the ability to monitor the earth and respond to dangerous hazards.
Technology from NASA has also benefited the sick. Subpoint 2: The Canadian robotics system
that helped build and now operates on the International Space Station has led to tools that give
doctors new ways to detect cancer, operate on sick children, and perform neurosurgery on
patients once considered to be inoperable. Subpoint 3: the tools built to make the space
laboratory helped give doctors new ways to detect sickness such as cancer or operate on sick
children or perform surgery on patients

Transition to Point 3 Last i will discuss the possibilities of space.

Subpoint 1: Throughout the years, NASA has sent satellites in the void of space. it has
generated more than three times as many papers; many scientists used the probe's analysis of
temperature differences in space to theorize about the origin and structure of the universe
(Achenbach).Subpoint 2: At the expense of the satellite, it gives us closer understanding to how
the universe was originated and how long it was ago it took place. Subpoint 3: Learn
possibilities of using wormholes or new materials to create or craft new items.

Transition to Conclusion: In this speech i hope you have learned how important NASA
is and how it could possibly create new ways for us.

Review Main Points: Weve discussed about how important NASA is by it creating new
jobs, new technology and newly knowledge that could aid us greatly in the future.

Conclusion: So whenever someone says NASA is useless or should not be funded

anymore you should tell them what you have learned here.
