Circular on Winter 2016-2017 Weekend Intrasemester (WWI)

In order to help the students to clear their backlogs, option to register for courses that will be offered
in the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) will be opened during Winter 2016-2017. The details
regarding course registrations and other requirements for the Winter 2016-2017 Weekend
Intrasemester (WWI) is given below:

[1] Both CAL and non-CAL students are eligible to register for the courses

[2] Only courses with Y / F can be registered and therefore fresh courses cannot be registered

[3] Courses offered during regular Winter 2016-2017 will not be offered in the Weekend
Intrasemester. Also courses offered either in regular Winter 2016-2017 or Weekend Intrasemester
will not be offered in the forthcoming Summer Semester 2016-2017

[4] Maximum of 2 courses / 8 credits can be registered

[5] Total number of credits taken in regular Winter 2016-2017 plus Weekend Intrasemester should
not exceed 27 credits

[6] A registration fee of Rs. 6000 / course need to be paid before the said date to ensure the course
registration

[7] There will be no ADD/DROP or Withdrawal for the courses offered in the Intrasemester. It is
necessary to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance (physical presence in the class) to appear for the
continuous assessment and FAT. All other protocols followed will be the same as that of the regular
semester.

[8] The Academic Calender for the Intrasemester will be circulated shortly.
