This is a list of sitting judges of the Supreme Court of India, the

highest court in the Republic of India. Including the Chief Justice of India,
who is considered as the first among the equal other judges is also the
administrative head, there are currently 28 sitting judges, against a
maximum possible strength of 31.

Of the 28 sitting judges, there is only one women - R. Banumathi.[1] As

per the Constitution of India, Supreme Court judges retire at age 65.
