Some people think that we do not really need religions, as they are responsible for
spreading ignorance and superstitious beliefs, and murdering millions in the name of
God
Others claim that there is no morality without religion and in addition, many people
feel lost and scared in such a big world. With what point of agreement ?

Religions have come with a tradition around the world, which have influences to a lot of the
human beings, fundamentally in the societies of the ancient world and the world today, with
which come various dimensions such as beliefs, concepts, and rites for the faithful to

of the world carrying out religious foundations of many structures, where the customs and
social uses of the new times as well as influencing the individual and collective behavior of
the man and of the world.
The society has had changes on the religions or beliefs, since some years ago, it was seen
as an obligation to attend to mass every Sunday or to pray every night since in this subject it
was not respected the personal opinions or the form in which each One wanted to thank or
ask for their God, there is currently so many variety in religions and beliefs that we have the
freedom to choose which one most satisfies our needs.
As we all know religion is a human activity that almost all human beings know, is an activity
that is based on beliefs and practices about things of moral, existential and supernatural.
Religion has greatly influenced the configuration of various cultures and societies. The
human being has made use of religion to find meaning in its existence and to explain the
world, the universe and all that man can know.
Since the beginning of time, since the world was a world, people have created gods to
explain the universal mysteries in a simple way. But most people only use religion to silence
our conscience and we ignore what they say or what they say.
Believers are those who wish to find ways that will allow their lives through the collaboration

Religion is understood as an activity composed of different beliefs, practices and dogmas,

Religion is part of the culture of the human being, and represents a great pillar within society,
because it is the point of identification of ideals that have developed, shape each human
being in values and beliefs, and thanks to this being Human being has developed his notions
of spirituality, this in conjunction with a moral basis provided by each religion allows us to feel
safer because it is a means of support: Over time religion has been a fundamental part of us
regardless of Place of origin and different beliefs, have a God or a Supreme Being in which
to place our trust, and pay tribute has become a relevant part of us, so much so that we
attribute everything that happens to us.
It is presented as a link between the divine and the earthly, it is a means by which faith is
practiced that professes and allows personal and integral growth, leading you to a full,
upright and happy life. Religion gives meaning to the life of every human being, because it
provides from their beliefs, doctrines and practices, a reason to live, in search of happiness,
achieved through the most correct way of life. It directs the course that each one is taking,
since it is true that the different decisions that each human being takes are thanks to the
knowledge base that it has in union with the beliefs, for which religion is part of the life of the
Man greatly influences this point.

Religion since ancient times has allowed the earliest civilizations to establish a set of
doctrines, which over time have become traditions and some are considered sacred
traditions and rites.
Religion has allowed to the society to get a belief that has allowed itself to believe in the first
instincts of community, based on mutual experience with other people, such as respect for
others regardless of sex, race or belief Religious, etc.
Since the time that religion allows us to establish that bond of community with society, it also
allows us to establish values, beliefs, a lifestyle and the notion of spirituality.
It can be said that when the notion of spirituality is developed, society looks through religion
answers to various questions, in the same way society poses challenges and ideals that
depend on faith and our religion, on what we can not see But we know it is present.
Currently, the concept that religion society has gets a conflict with the personal beliefs and
beliefs of others, since it is difficult to give value to different religions and their practices.
We can conclude that religion is part of ethics and citizenship as the answer to live in society,

The issue of religion is somewhat complicated to speak, even often avoid the issue to avoid
creating conflicts, however its influence is closely linked to the culture of each society,
according to studies it is estimated that every 8 of 10 people belong Or identify with a
religious group ; In fact there is a group of people who define themselves as not religious, but
this does not mean that they do not believe in a God or supreme power, but do not perform
certain religious practices
Many religions and beliefs, very varied rituals, which mark not only the mentality of the
people but also drastically influence the daily aspects of daily life, such as clothing, food, rest
among others, Christianity is considered the largest religious group worldwide. In our country
most profess the Catholic religion, then the Christian religion. But it does not stop surprising
as every day many garage religions that take advantage of the faith of people for profit.

From the beginning of mankind man has sought a higher self than he attributes all things that
happen. The above is not only in some cultures but in those who say they are advanced, in
oriental cultures and in men living in the wild.
When the Europeans arrived in America they found that the natives had Gods according to
the place where Vivian (the sun, the moon, the water). All this gave rise to the creation of
religions that were formed in many ways; In each of which they invented their God, and
around that God created norms that were modified through the times. No one can say which
religion is true or false but it can be said that some are similar to others.
With the creation of Christianity, for example, a number of churches have been derived, but it
is observed that they all pursue economic ends; Which means that religion in this case is a
business.
There are communities or regions where religion is part of the politics of the place in which
case they take part of the government.
According to the concept of some philosophers religion, in any place, ties the free thinking of
the people and through a series of norms or precepts, has created prizes and punishments
for those who fulfill or fail them.
Because of religions, wars have been created between countries, and protected by those
beliefs that defend millions of human beings have been killed.
There are situations in which one can not find a logical explanation such as the Crusades or
the massacres of Protestants in France by order of Cardinal Richelieu (under the reign of
Louis).
Religion has not always produced negative things; If not that in many occasions it has been
important in the education of the man. In the conquest of America the first colleges and
universities were created by the church.
Referring to the Catholic Church, no one forgets the time of the inquisition, when the church
executed the one who did not believe in his doctrine.
In Colombia, in Cartagena there was a tribunal of the Inquisition that in the name of God
murdered many people.
Even a Italian geographer burned it in a bonfire to say that the earth moved and that it was
