4.7 Qualification :-
Candidate must Possess :
4.7.1 M.B.B.S. degree of a statutory University or any other qualification specified in the
First Schedule or Second Scheduled to the Indian Medical Council Act.1956; and
4.7.2 Post-graduate degree in Preventive & Social Medicine or post-graduate Diploma in
Public Health (D.P.H.) or a qualification accepted as equivalent by the Medical
Council of India, and
4.8
 -Experience of Health administration, Medical relief or Family planning, Malaria/
Leprosy under Government, Zilha Parishad or a local Body for not less than 5 years in
the case of those holding post-graduate degree and for not less than 7 years in the case
of those holding post graduate diploma, gained after acquiring the MBBS degree.

4.10 The selected candidate will have to sign an agreement embodying the conditions of his
service including the condition to serve Government for a period of 5 years or to pay penalty
of Rs.500/- or such other sum as may be prescribed by Govt.
4.11 The selected candidate will have to get himself / herself registered under Maharashtra Medical
Council Act 1965, before joining or his / her name should be borne in Indian Medical Council
Register.
4.12 The selected candidates will be debarred from doing any private practice but can be paid
compensatory allowance in lieu according to the rules.
4.13 Period of probation will be two years
