Actividades laborales

DESCRIPTION
Archaeologists study the past of the human being through the remains such as bones,
tissues, ceramics, tools, features of the landscape and constructions. They dig, identify,
record and preserve such remains. This work also involves laboratory analysis,
research, heritage management and planning advice.
WORK ACTIVITIES
Archaeologists study the past of the human being through remains, such as bones,
tissues, pottery, tools, landscape features and constructions.
They dig, identify, record and conserve the remains. They also engage in relating such
remains to environmental evidence, such as climate and animal / plant life.
Archaeologists who perform fieldwork usually work as part of a team, with surveyors
and excavation specialists. Topography tasks include drawing maps and plans of the
excavation area, or monuments of the place. Archaeologists can use aerial
photographs or geophysical techniques to identify archaeological sites.
The archaeologist must take notes and make accurate measurements, and you may
need to use these data to compose your reports. In some cases, digging is a long-term
job that will be permanently open, and becomes an open general public. In other
cases, archaeologists work within a period of time to complete the excavations before
the redevelopment of the area commences.
Other archaeologists, especially those working in museums and universities, carry out
research work along with their other tasks. Those working in museums should ensure
that exhibitions are well presented and objects are protected
Possible damage. Typically, they use computers in their work, for example, to record
results, produce reports and create movies, simulations or virtual reality models. The
use of computer-aided design (CAD) and geographic information systems (GIS) is
increasingly common in this work. Archaeologists wear protective clothing such as
helmets and boots during excavations.
If you are a professor, you will earn 15,000 a month If you work for the national institute
of anthropology you could earn from 15000 to 30000 monthly And if you work for
individuals you could earn what you want if you discover prehistoric deposits or tombs
to if in the same way you could reclassify and make studies of previous investigations
and would charge according to your attitudes
