INTRODUCTION TO 1st IMDRC
The 1 st International Multi-Disciplinary Research
Conference (IMDRC-2017) is a platform through which
contemporary and emerging ideas on Business,
Commerce, Economics, English, Computer Science &
Information Technology, Chemistry, DPT and
Mathematics are discussed where academics and researchers interact with the industry
professionals. The forum encourages scholars from all parts of the world to bring
forward their research and contribute in providing the innovative ideas on the current
issues. IMDRC provides an excellent opportunity to researchers and professionals to
network and discuss the growing concerns and challenging problems which brings
market changes and transformation in respective disciplines. IMDRC strives to
develop a community which encourages the exchange of ideas and facilitates learning.

Earlier 1 st MDRC-2015 at (National Level) organized by Department of Business

Administration was a very meaningful forum for the scholars and researchers to gather
around from all over the Pakistan and to share opinions as per the need of time and
requirement of the relevant fields. But 1st IMDRC-2107 offers vast and diverse ground
to researchers of all over the World to bring their ideas and try collaborating with each
other and seek advanced answers. Therefore, the 1 st IMDRC promotes collaborative
practice amongst researchers and professionals to stay connected with the two worlds
of research & industry simultaneously.

CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS
Department of Business Administration
Department Of Business Administration started its journey in 2013. The Department
of Business Administration is one of the pioneer departments being established soon
after the inception of University of Sargodha, Sub-Campus Mandi Bahauddin. It has
been entrusted among other things the basic duty of producing a class of professional
managers who are completely self-confident and pragmatic in approach. The

Department is aimed at developing well rounded modern day managers because we
believe that education in business management is not just about management but it is
also about how management can improve various other disciplines and functions of
which business is comprised of. We are aware that with globalization and dismantling
of rigid regulatory frameworks across the world, the business environment has
become very dynamic and the modern day manager must be capable of adapting to the
fast changing business environment. We seek to develop individuals with the integrity
and intellectual capacity to assume a leadership role in society, to impact the practice
of management and to contribute to knowledge generation and dissemination.

UNIVERSITY OF SARGODHA MANDI BAHAUDDIN CAMPUS

Establishment of University of Sargodha sub-campus in Mandi Bahauddin shows the
zeal for providing quality education in this region. The university mission is to
provide purposeful education and training, and excel in research relevant to the
regional, national and global needs incorporating all the resources available through
innovation. This university is enjoying very good reputation among all the emerging
public sector universities. It has shown best results not only in Business Department
but in all the departments.

Moreover, it is the beginning of the services of comprehensive society which dreams

further to do maximum to uplift the standards of education for the citizens of Mandi
Bahauddin. It is a pleasure to provide them opportunities to get higher education
through intellectual, moral and academic training which enables them to face the
challenges of modern civilization. Accordingly, the university focuses on the overall
personality development of the students through curricular, co-curricular and sports
activities. Since the recognition from HEC, university of Sargodha Mandi Bahauddin
Campus has raised its standards to greater level and increased its determined efforts in
providing quality education in this remote area and to serve this strong need for the
betterment and development of the Mandi Bahauddin.

Bahauddin Campus invite academics, consultants, leaders, researchers, professionals
and students from all parts of the World to participate in 1 st International Multi-
Disciplinary Research Conference to share their cutting-edge research, conceptual
frameworks, business ideas, proposals and innovative concepts. The organizing
committee of the IMDRC 2017 provides an exquisite opportunity to interact with
people and discuss developing issues in Business, Commerce, English, Computer

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Authors may submit research papers (theoretical and empirical), working papers
(research in progress), business proposals and plans, case studies, professional articles,
seminar papers, book-reviews or student papers etc. The paper submissions will then
undergo a rigorous process of review. All submissions will be
subject to a blind review. All authors of accepted papers will
be notified through email. The authors must adhere to the
following guidelines for the submission of their work:

Please submit your papers via e-mail to secretary@imdrc.com.pk in Word

Format/PDF file format which should fit on A-4 sized page only in English
Language.

The title of the paper must bold and underlined and the name of the
author/authors may be placed below the title of the paper (not bold, not
underlined and not in italics) in Times New Roman font (12pt), both must be
centered.

 Please mark margins of at least 1 inch on all sides, use Times New Roman font
(12pt) and italicize the abstract and leave a line at the end.

Full-length papers should not exceed 25 double-spaced pages; working papers,

case studies, seminar papers and student papers should not exceed 15 pages;
proposals and business plans should not exceed 10 pages; poster presentations
should not exceed 08 pages.

A cover page should indicate the title of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s),
and their affiliation(s). The main body of the paper should follow the abstract.

CONFERENCE VENUE:
Venue for the 1 st IMDRC-2017 is Crystal Hotel. This Hotel is located in the center of
Mandi Bahauddin City. The architecture and interiors of this fabulous Hotel building
is a mere reflection of typical Pakistani cultural heritage depicting the skills and
craftsmanship of native artisans. In this state-of-the-art building, local traditions are
elegantly combined with latest technologies in order
to provide a comfortable stay to our prestigious
guests. The Hotels remarkable architecture is a
blend of rich, elaborated, and vivid designs where
the artisans have really shown their magical skills
especially on the ceilings, floors, and walls.
