GRID (GLOBAL REVENUE INFORMATION DATABASE)


o About Project: A system for the complete Revenue Recognition Processes. Complete workflow of
managing the global deals, starting from uploading all the excel collected deals across the globe into a
central Oracle DB and the kick-starting the complete workflow of bundling the deals, creating revenue
recognition forms, segregating the complete revenue towards different categories, reviewing by
analysts, notifications at various levels, approvals and finally closing the deals.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT
o About Project: Application to manage the budget for the Global Finance BUs. The raw csv files for
expenditures are collected from various sources across the globe and then loaded into central Oracle
DB. While uploading the data, the application categorizes the various expense items under various
regions, categories and subcategories e.g. Travel, Training, Meals etc. Once uploaded automatically all
the calculations are done various Quarters, Regions and Teams and reports are generated automatically.
o This whole application was developed using Dynamic PL/SQL coding in Oracle APEX

PROJECTS DATABASE
o About Projects: This project was aimed to collect all the projects from different Finance BUs at one
single central DB, so that it could be easy to manage and track them. The users can add new projects,
milestones to projects, tasks to milestones, subtasks to tasks from a single form. They can add various
details like Project Managers, Project Members, related documents etc to projects. Then the various
tasks are assigned to different members and the project managers could manage and track the various
milestones, tasks and subtasks of their projects. Auto notifications are sent as per the various stages and
timeline of the projects. Each member has access to his/her own projects, tasks and subtasks.

TEMPLATE BUILDER
o About Project: This project is one of the most innovative project developed using Oracle APEX. It allows
users to submit their requirements for new forms e.g. Title of form, various field name, type, size, and
validations etc, email notification required, file upload required, creating LOVs from a single Oracle
APEX Form. Once the user submits his request he/she could start using his desired form. The form gets
generated using Dynamic Pl/SQL, APEX_ITEM package, and other APEX API packages to give these forms
the complete functionalities, from rendering, validations, and dynamic actions till the DML processing.

KPI DASHBOARD
o About Project: This application was developed for the higher management people to view all the KPI
(Key Performance Indicators) at a single place for various teams. The complete application was
developed only using a home page (with Dynamic Pl/SQL tables showing different sections and KPIs for
each team i.e. for each KPI the Closed Quarter Trend, Current Quarter Trend, Quarterly trend for one
fiscal year, Year over Year Analysis) and from the homepage there would be links with each trend
clicking on which opens a popup for a chart for that KPI Trend. Various APEX Charts (Pie, Doughnut, Bar,
Stacked Bar were used to show different trends.
