Compressor Design:
Design Verification

Basis for Siemens compressor design is technical knowledge combined with the
use of state-of-the-art design tools. This means for example the simulation of
compressor components behaviour by Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Nevertheless calculation and design of the components have to be carried out in

accordance with international guidelines.

Calculations in accordance with international guidelines (API, AD, ASME, TRD,

Pressure Equipment, ..)
Use of state-of-the-art design tools (FEA)
Validation by Measurements

Verification and Validation of Design, Design Rules and analytical Tools!
