Exaquantum Installation Guide 1-1

Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 About This Guide
This guide provides all the information necessary to install the Exaquantum software.
It describes the main installation options and provides the information necessary to
make the right choices.
Many of the major choices are fundamental to a successful integration with other
systems.
The information is aimed at IT professionals who have been on the appropriate
Yokogawa training course, such as 'Installing Exaquantum Systems' [NTPP 902].
WARNING: The software should only be installed by authorized staff that are qualified
to do so.
The level of information is aimed at suitably qualified installation and integration
engineers, who will be expected to have the following abilities:
Have access to the decisions made about the installation requirements and design.
Understand the technical environment and infrastructure at the installation site
Be familiar with the Windows operating systems being used, including the User and
Group account options.
Have access to the Administrator account on all the computers involved.

1-2 Chapter 1 Introduction

1.2 Installation Overview

There are three main phases to the installation process that should normally be carried
out in the following order:
1 Pre-installation Preparation - Before you start:
Ensure that you know what to install.
Check that the hardware and infrastructure are suitable and that the prerequisite
software is available.
Which IT Security Model should be used?
2 Installation Procedures - The methods for:
Installing any prerequisite software.
Installing the Exaquantum software.
3 Configuration - Make the necessary adjustments to the default configuration to
match your situation.
Alternatively you may be making Changes to an Existing Installation.
When the installation is completed, you should refer to the Checking the Installation
section.
Language
Exaquantum is available in other Language options, which can have an effect on the
installation process.
Note: All procedures should be carried out using a Windows account that has
administrator privileges on the local machine.

1.3 Other Sources of Information

This guide provides all the information you require to carry out the installation.
If you want a greater understanding of some of the more complicated concepts behind
the software then you can refer to other Exaquantum documents.
The following documents are available in PDF on the Exaquantum DVD. You can also
choose for them to be installed on the target computer:
Note 1: In order to view PDF documents on this PC, Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader
must be installed. It is available www.adobe.com

1-4 Chapter 1 Introduction

1.4 Language options

Supported Languages
Exaquantum currently supports the English and Japanese languages.
English is the default language, except in the case of Japanese being detected. There are
three DVDs:
Prerequisites Japanese
Prerequisites English
Exaquantum
Language Detection
During the installation process, Exaquantum detects the language being used based on
the operating systems default code page, which is not necessarily the language selection
by the setting in the Windows 'Locale'.
For example, when English Windows 2008 is installed, and Japanese is selected as the
default language, the Exaquantum installation will install English files.
Exaquantum will display the installation dialogs in the detected or default language and
installs the same version of documentation and database defaults.

1.5 Support
In the case of any problems with the installation of the software, support is available
from the relevant Yokogawa representative.
Before Contacting Yokogawa Support
Please check the information in this guide and the Other Sources of Information section
to ensure that the basic installation and configuration issues have been addressed.
The support process will be much more efficient if you have some basic information
ready when you call:
The version and release numbers of the software.
The operating system being used, including the service pack level.
A concise description of the problem and its symptoms.
Full details of any error messages encountered.
Access to the Windows Event Viewer, in particular the Application and System
logs.
Tip: The Information Gathering Tool can be used to create a comprehensive report
containing useful information to help diagnose many problems. Further details can be
obtained in the Exaquantum Engineering Guide Vol. 3. See the Other Sources of
Information section for a link.

Chapter 2 Pre-installation Preparation

2.1 Pre-Installation Overview
During the preparation stage you need to discover what form of installation will be
performed.
The following topics are discussed:
Additional Features
Client / Server Technology
Open Interface
User And Group Accounts
Exaquantum OPC Client Support
Excel Add-Ins
Hard Disk Considerations
Internet Information Server
Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ)
Primary And Secondary Exaquantum PIMS Servers
Role Based Name Space
Secure Workbook Folder Location
Server Time Synchronization
Web Server Deployment Options
Web Authoring Tools
Windows Terminal Services
21 CFR Part 11 Support
Network Configuration
User Group Generation before installation
Installation of Exaquantum with third party software
Installation of Exaquantum with Exaopc software
Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP v4)
User Account Control
These issues should already have been decided at an earlier stage of the project. If you do
not know all the answers then seek advice from the system or project manager.
Before you install the Exaquantum software it is essential to confirm that the necessary
prerequisites are available (Overview). The prerequisites depend on the form of
installation discussed in the list of topics above.

IM 36J04A13-01E 13th Edition Issue 1 February 21st 2014

2-2 Chapter 2 Pre-installation Preparation

2.2 Additional Features

The Exaquantum system contains a number of additional features and tools that provide
extra functionality:
Not all these items are required for every installation.
During the installation procedure you to choose which ones to install.
Some items need prerequisite software (Overview).
Before starting the installation procedure you should determine which of the following
items are to be installed. Refer to the list in the Exaquantum Select Features dialog box.
For further information about these features, refer to the relevant item in the other
sources of information (Other Sources of Information).
2.3 Client / Server Technology Options
Exaquantum uses a client / server architecture that can be deployed in two distinct forms:
Exaquantum/Explorer technology - A dedicated application running on the client,
communicates directly with the Exaquantum/PIMS server over the LAN (local area
network).
Exaquantum/Web technology - A standard web browser on the client, uses HTTP to
communicate with the Exaquantum/Web server, which in turn communicates with
the Exaquantum/PIMS server.
Note: The important technical and policy issues concerning the method used in any
particular situation need to be settled at an early stage. This discussion is beyond the
scope of this guide. If you want help in making a decision then please discuss the
implications with your Yokogawa representative.
Servers
There are three options for deploying the server software:
Exaquantum/PIMS server installed on a single computer.
Exaquantum/Web server installed on a single computer.
Exaquantum/PIMS server and Exaquantum/Web server combined on a single
computer.
All systems must have at least one Exaquantum/PIMS server.
The Exaquantum/Web server can be deployed in two ways (Web Server
Deployment Options).
Notes:
1. The combined server deployment is only intended for small-scale, low volume
use, such as demonstrations.
2. Host names for Web server (and any other Exaquantum server) should be valid
DNS host names as documented in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909264
3. For a web server running the Exaquantum Legacy Web the website will not
function correctly if the Web server host name contains an underscore (_)

Clients
There are two client software options (Client Software Options):
Exaquantum/Explorer client
Exaquantum/Web client
2.4 Client Software Options
The choice of client installation depends entirely on whether DCOM or Web-based
technology is being used.
Exaquantum/Explorer client - Dedicated software that uses DCOM (Distributed
Component Object Model) to communicate with the Exaquantum/PIMS server.
Exaquantum/Web client - Uses a standard web browser and HTTP (Hypertext
Transport Protocol) to communicate with the Exaquantum/Web server.

2.5 Web Server Deployment Options

In the case of the Exaquantum system using Web-based technology, there is a choice in
the way the two server components are deployed:
Two server deployment - Install the Exaquantum/PIMS and Exaquantum/Web
servers on separate computers.
Single server deployment - Install both the Exaquantum/PIMS and
Exaquantum/Web servers on the same computer.
Note: The combined server deployment is only intended for small-scale, low volume use,
such as demonstrations.
Figure 2-3 Figure 2-4

The requirement for the hardware platforms on which the software is installed is
explained in the topic Combined Server Prerequisites. The software prerequisites are
described in the topic Exaquantum/PIMS Server Prerequisites.

2.6 Open Interface

The Open Interface (Formerly known as Cross-server calculations) provides the ability to
perform calculations using data from across different Exaquantum servers. It can also be
used by OPC Clients to access Exaquantum Tag, and Alarm and Event data.
The effect on the installation process is that the Exaopc server is added to the prerequisite
software (Overview) for the Exaquantum/PIMS server.

2.7 User And Group Accounts

All parts of an Exaquantum system need to communicate and share data.
In order to regulate access to facilities and functionality they share a basic set of
common users and groups with various access rights and privileges.
Exaquantum employs the Windows operating system user and group accounts to
manage this facility.
Account Management
There are two fundamentally different ways of configuring these accounts:
Local Group Accounts - maintain a set of local User and Group accounts on each
Exaquantum/PIMS server in the workgroup.
Domain Accounts - maintain a centralized set of User and Group accounts on a
domain server.
In case of either Legacy model or Standard model for Workgroup, by default,
Exaquantum uses local groups for account management method. There are also other
areas of the Exaquantum installation that depend on how this is managed, such as Server
Time Synchronization and Role Based Name Space.
Implications For The Installation
The installation procedure only supports the automatic creation of local groups and
accounts. Domain groups and accounts have to be created manually prior to the
installation.
Be aware that if you:
Upgrade a Legacy system that already uses domain based accounts, and want to
continue that way, some post installation configuration is required (Using
Domain\Local Accounts).
In case of Legacy model, Install a new system and you want to use a domain to
manage the accounts, then you should contact your Yokogawa representative.

2.8 Determine the Security Model

Regarding IT security, for further information, please refer to Chapter 13 (IT Security
Setting).
Exaquantum provides three security models which are compatible with IT security (refer
to Chapter 13).
When installing Exaquantum, the IT security must be set, and this should be determined
in advance of installation of Exaquantum.
When installing Exaquantum, the same security model must be set for all installation
types (Combined Server, PIMS Server, Web Server and Explorer Client)
If Exaquantum is being installed with another Yokogawa SBP product (Solution Based
Package), then the IT Security model for Exaquantum must be the same as that used for
the SBP product. Examples of SBP products are Exaopc, Exapilot, Exaplog.

2.11 Excel Add-Ins

The Excel Add-ins allows Exaquantum client users to view and manipulate Exaquantum
data using Microsoft Excel. When Excel is installed before the Exaquantum software, the
Excel Add-ins are automatically installed in the correct location to enable Excel to locate
and work with them in the most efficient way.
The effect of the Excel Add-ins on the installation is that:
A suitable version of Microsoft Excel must be available and should be installed on
the client as part of the prerequisite software (Overview).
Visual Basic for Application (Excel VBA) needs to be installed simultaneously.
Note: The Excel Add-in is an optional extension to the basic Exaquantum features. It
requires a suitable version of Microsoft Excel be installed. Microsoft Excel is not
supplied.
Note: When running on Windows 2008 R2 Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 64bit or
Windows 8 64bit only the 32 bit version of Excel should be used, running under WoW64.
Note: Visual Basic for Applications is installed by default.
If you do not install Excel first as recommended, some post installation
configuration (The Excel Add-In Files) is necessary see Section 10.13.
2.12 Hard Disk Considerations
There are three aspects of the hard disk storage that can be considered:
Interface - Best performance is obtained by using a SAS interface
RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives) - Where data integrity is of
paramount importance a RAID-5 system should be considered.
Partitioning - It is strongly recommended that you use a separate drive for the
Exaquantum data. If this is not possible then a separate partition should be allocated.
The recommended partitions sizes for the server are shown in the table.

GB free space is needed.
NOTE. When collecting OPC A&E data for CAMS, we recommend free space of more
than 1TB on the disk where the Data database is located.
2.13 Internet Information Server
Internet Information Server (IIS) provides the functionality for the Exaquantum/Web
server to be able to act as a web site.
The Exaquantum/Web server uses IIS to serve web pages to Exaquantum/Web clients
that connect using the HTTP (Hypertext Transport Protocol) and a standard web browser.
We strongly recommend that if IIS will be used, that it be installed by selecting it as one
of the options available when the operating system is installed.
Although it can be added later this will involve additional work and duplication.
If you install the IIS later, you will have to re-install any Windows service packs
that have been added see Chapter 8 Installing IIS.

2-20 Chapter 2 Pre-installation Preparation

2.14 Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ)

The Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) is essential if the installation will use the
Exaquantum Event Generator Tool.
The Exaquantum Event Generator Tool is used to link applications that provide
additional functionality on top of the Exaquantum/PIMS server software.
We strongly recommend that if MSMQ will be used, that it be installed by selecting it as
one of the options available when the operating system is installed.
Although it can be added later this will involve additional work and duplication.
If you install the MSMQ later, you will have to re-install any Windows service pack
that has been added.
Installing MSMQ needs some special attention. Please see Chapter 7 Installing
MSMQ for further details.
2.15 Primary And Secondary Exaquantum PIMS Servers
The Exaquantum/Web server and any Exaquantum/Explorer clients need to be able to
communicate with an Exaquantum/PIMS server over the LAN.
Many Exaquantum systems have more than one Exaquantum/PIMS server with one or
more Role Based Name Spaces configured to provide paths to the data on both servers.
Identifying a secondary server allows for an alternative source for the RBNS in the case of
a problem with the primary server though only data from the working server will be accessible.
During the installation procedure of these components you will be asked to enter the name of
the Primary and Secondary Exaquantum/PIMS servers as in Exaquantum PIMS Server
Names.
NOTE: Role Based Name Space must be configured on both servers for Primary to
Secondary server switching to work.
2.16 Role Based Name Space
Role Based Name Space (RBNS) is a method used by Exaquantum for allocating access
to system features and data according to the user's role.
The default access control to Exaquantum uses the user and group account feature
offered by the Windows operating system. RBNS builds upon this to provide user
configurable group accounts as well.
By creating a set of groups based upon job roles, each user's access can easily be
changed by moving them to the appropriate group.
For example:
If a user changes role it is only necessary to change the groups to which they belong.
To change the access permissions of a whole group of staff depends on the network
access security environment being used:
Domain - requires only a single change to the role group to which they all belong.
Workgroup - requires a change to be made on each Exaquantum/PIMS server in
the workgroup.

Exaquantum Installation Guide 2-21

2.17 Secure Workbook Folder Location

The Secure Workbooks available to Exaquantum client users must be accessible to all the
clients.
There are three ways the location of the folder containing the Secure Workbooks can be
configured, each with different implications for the installation process:
Specified Local Folders [Default]
Separate copies of all the secure workbooks must be maintained on each of the
clients that use them.
By default the folder is located within the Exaquantum program files area.
The path must be identical when seen from the server and each client.
Shared Folder On A Mapped Drive
The secure workbooks are kept in a shared folder at a central location.
Access to the folder is defined using a mapped drive.
The path to the location of the mapped drive and shared folder has to be entered at
installation time.
The path must be identical when seen from the server and each client.
The mapped drive has to be set up on each client.
Shared Folder Using A UNC Path
The secure Workbooks are kept in a shared folder at a central location.
Access to the folder is defined using a UNC network path.
A UNC path has the form
= the name of the computer hosting the secure workbooks
= the file system path to the secure workbook folder on the computer
'computer_name'
= the name of the folder containing the secure workbooks
The path must be identical when seen from the server and each client.
This form of addressing provides a universal address that requires no configuration
of the clients.
Note1: The location of the secure workbooks is not checked by the installation procedure.
The location is checked at first use, when the client is run by a user who is not a member
of the following group.
Legacy Model: QExplorerDesignGroup
Standard Model: QTM_EXPLORER_DESIGN
Note2: In the case that a shared folder will be used, please create it in advance. Using
shared folder File Access setting is recommended to be "Read Only".

2-22 Chapter 2 Pre-installation Preparation

2.18 Server Time Synchronization

Time synchronization between the Exaquantum Server and OPC Server(s) is required for
the correct working of Exaquantum. Failure to synchronize the two could result in no live
data or no history data. The subject of Time Synchronization is covered in detail in
Time Synchronization in the Exaquantum Engineering Guide Volume 2(IM36J04A15-
02E).
2.19 Web Authoring Tools Option
The Web Authoring Tools option provides the ability to add Exaquantum objects to
bespoke web pages, for the Legacy Web site, for use by Exaquantum clients.
The tools included with the Exaquantum software are specifically designed to
integrate with Microsoft Expression Web 4 + SP2.
Any other HTML based web authoring editor can be used, but the integration will
not be available.
A copy of the chosen HTML editor will be required for each computer on which the
Web Authoring Tools are installed.
If Microsoft Expression Web 4 is being used, it does not have to be installed before the
Exaquantum software. The integration should be available after installing Expression
Web.
2.20 Windows Terminal Services
Exaquantum/PIMS has a feature that allows some of the Administration Tools to be used
remotely using an Internet Explorer web browser.
This feature uses the Windows Terminal Services facility, which is provided as an option
with all of the supported Windows Server Operating systems.
The installation and configuration procedure for Terminal Services differs significantly
with the version of Windows being used. For more details refer to the information that is
provided by Microsoft, about Terminal Services and the operating system you are using.
Whenever the feature is first accessed from a browser, an ActiveX control will be
downloaded from the server and installed on the local PC (Configuring Internet Explorer
ActiveX Security).

2.21 21 CFR Part 11 Support

The Exaquantum system provides an optional feature to support the U.S. FDA regulation
21 CFR Part 11. This defines rules for securing the long term storage of electronic
records using electronic signatures.
If your installation is required to support these regulations, you will need to activate
support during the installation procedure for Exaquantum/PIMS server, using the
Exaquantum 21 CFR Part 11 Settings dialog box.
You will need to know the period, in minutes, for which passwords are valid before they
need to be refreshed.
Note: 21 CFR Part 11 support is only available why you buy CFR Part 11 option with
Exaquantum/Batch.
2.22 Network Configuration
It is recommended that DNS be setup with Reverse Lookup Zones on any network with
Exaquantum products installed, to improve network diagnostics.
2.23 User Group Generation before Installation
When installing Exaquantum with Standard security model, it is required to manually
generate EXA_MAINTENANCE group on the install destination PC or domain. This
operation is necessary for both Exaquantum server and client.
Note 1: In case of Standard Model, in order to use SQL Server Management Studio,
QTM_MAINTENANCE and Administrator privilege are needed. For Legacy Model, in
order to use SQL Server Management Studio, Administrator privilege is needed.
Note 2: When requested below, execute bat files as Administrator.
- If the batch file is not executed as Administrator, error number 5 is given.
Error detail is Access is denied.
- If the batch file is executed twice, error number 1379 is given
Error detail is The specified local group already exists.
For Standard Model (Standalone management)
1 Log on with a user account having administrators authority to perform installation.

Chapter 4 Installation Procedures

4.1 Installation Procedures Overview
There are two main phases to installing the software:
Installing the prerequisites.
Installing the Exaquantum software.
The installation procedure will use the DVDs in the following order:
1. Exaquantum Prerequisites DVD
2. Exaquantum Software DVD

Before starting you should be aware of, and understand:

The choices you will be asked to make during the installation procedures.
The preparation necessary to ensure a suitable platform for the software.
You are strongly recommended to read the topics concerning:
Installation Overview.
Prerequisites.
Pre-installation preparation.

NOTE.
The Exaquantum Web Server deployment provides two Web Sites:
Exaquantum LegacyWeb
Exaquantum Web

The Exaquantum LegacyWeb website was the only website supported for Exaquantum
installations prior to the R2.80 release. From the R2.80 release, the new Exaquantum Web
website was introduced. Both websites run concurrently. The installation procedure for
Web Client deployment has some differences between the two websites:
Exaquantum LegacyWeb only following the sections for Exaquantum
LegacyWeb
Exaquantum Web there are no specific Web Client Installation procedures

4.2 Installation
There are four stages to installation:
Stage 1 - Installing The Operating System:
1 Install the chosen operating system using the manufacturers instructions.
For Exaquantum/Web server, also choose to install the IIS option (Chapter 8
Internet Information Server).
For Exaquantum Event Generator Tool on Combined or Data servers, also choose
the MSMQ option (Chapter 7 Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) ).
2 Install any service packs that are required.
3 Set up the operating system for the administrative and security environment to be used.
4 Configure for TCP/IP networking.
Stage 2 - Installing Other Prerequisites That Are Not Provided:
1 Install any of the prerequisites that are not provided. Use the information you have
obtained from reading this guide, or on the Exaquantum DVD, to decide what is
necessary for your situation.
Stage 3 - Installing Exaquantum Prerequisites:
The DVD menu will offer access to documentation and a choice of which installation
procedure to begin. The installation procedure steps relate to individual prerequisite
Dialog Boxes.
Before installing Exaquantum Prerequisites, the following procedure needs to be
followed.
Note 1: Please determine the Security Model.
For further information, refer to 2.8 Determine the Security Model.
Note 2: Please generate User Group
For further information, refer to 2.23 User Group Generation before Installation.

Chapter 6 Installation Troubleshooting

6.1 Recovering From A Failed Installation
In the case of an installation that fails for any reason, it is important to ensure that
subsequent attempts are not corrupted by the existing files. In order to avoid corruption,
we recommend that the faulty installation be completely removed before attempting a new
installation.
Removing A Failed Installation
1 If possible, try to uninstall the Exaquantum software using the standard Windows
Programs and Features facility (Uninstalling Exaquantum).
Continuing Problem
If installation fails repeatedly, the reason for the failure should be established:
1 Check the release notes for any late information about the product.
2 Re-read the relevant sections of this guide.
3 Note the circumstances and symptoms of the failure.
4 Create an Installation Log File.
If, after thorough investigation the reason for the failure is not clear, then we recommend
you consult with your Yokogawa representative to try and discover the cause.

6-2 Chapter 6 Installation Troubleshooting

6.2 Installation Log File

If the installation fails, or the software does not start properly, it could be due to a problem
with the installation procedure. In this situation, you may be able to locate the problem by
creating an installation log file.
To achieve this, perform a fresh installation on the problem computer with logging
enabled:
1 Uninstall Exaquantum (Uninstalling Exaquantum).
2 Enable installation logging as follows:
a On the problem computer, open a command window.
b In the command window, navigate to the appropriate (on the Server folder)
Setup.exe file on Exaquantum DVD (Disk 2).
c At the command prompt type one of the following commands, substituting the hard
drive, path and filename of your choice:
Clients and Exaquantum combined server:
Setup /verbose"<Drive:\\path\file_name.txt>
Exaquantum/Web server only:
Setup z/"WebServer" /verbose"<Drive:\\path\file_name.txt>
Exaquantum/PIMS server only:
Setup z/"ExaServer" /verbose"<Drive:\\path\file_name.txt>
3 Run the Exaquantum installation procedure again (Installation Procedures Overview)
This will produce a log file that can be analyzed to see if there is a problem. If you are not
familiar with this process they you should consult your Yokogawa representative.

6.3 Silent Installations

To perform a silent installation, you need an InstallShield "answer file", usually named
setup.iss. The graphical installer itself may be used to create an answer file.

Run the installer with the /r ("record") switch. Proceed through the dialogs and complete the
installation. This will create a setup.iss file and place it in the C:\WINDOWS directory. This file
will include all of your responses to the InstallShield dialogs, allowing you to perform silent
installations as if you were giving the same answers again. Simply copy setup.iss to the same
directory as the installer executable.

Once you have a setup.iss file, run the installer with the /s ("silent") option. This will perform
an unattended installation.

The /f1filename switch allows you to specify a fully-qualified alternate name for the
setup.iss file. Note that there must be no space between the /f1 switch and the file name. This
switch works both with /r to create the file and with /s to read it.

The /f2filename switch specifies a log file. Once again, there must be no space between the
switch and the file name.

WARNING: Be careful what characters you use in these file names, because InstallShield
silently strips certain non-alphanumerics (like hyphens).

For Web Server and Data Server installations it is also necessary to pass the server type on the
command line as follows:

1 Client install:
To record an answer file:
<Drive>:\Client\Setup.exe /r /f1"C:\test1.iss"
To install using an answer file:
<Drive>:\Client\Setup.exe /s /f1"C:\test1.iss" /f2"C:\Install.Log
2 Web Client install:
To record an answer file:
<Drive>:\WebClient\Setup.exe /r /f1"C:\test2.iss"
To install using an answer file:
<Drive>:\WebClient\Setup.exe /s /f1"C:\test2.iss" /f2"C:\Install.Log
3 Exaquantum combined server install:
To record an answer file:
<Drive>:\Server\Setup.exe /r /f1"C:\test3.iss"
To install using an answer file:
<Drive>:\Server\Setup.exe /s /f1"C:\test3.iss" /f2"C:\Install.Log

Exaquantum Installation Guide 10-1

Chapter 10 Configuration
10.1 Overview
In most straightforward installations little configuration is required to confirm that the
basic system works.
Note: Configuration is necessary to transform the installation into a fully functioning
integrated system, but that does not form part of the installation process.
The following items may need to be configured:
Exaquantum/PIMS server:
After the program has been installed you need to expand the size of the database
(Expanding The Database).
If you are upgrading an existing Exaquantum system that uses domain based
accounts you will have to consider the implications of continuing that way or to
use local accounts instead (Using Domain\Local Accounts).
After installing the SQL Server you will need to configure the memory usage
(Configuring SQL Server Memory).
Exaquantum/Web client:
The configuration of Internet Explorer may need to be changed for ActiveX
download, logon access, and proxy servers (Internet Explorer Configuration -
Overview).
For user's convenience, you can arrange for the Exaquantum home page to
automatically open when Internet Explorer is started (The Exaquantum/Web user
interface makes extensive use of ActiveX technology and scripts.
The ActiveX controls will be downloaded when making a first visit to the
Exaquantumhome web site or by explicit installation from the DVD.
Some security settings of Internet Explorer can be configured to prevent the installation of
ActiveX controls and the running of associated scripts.
Tip: The ActiveX controls supplied as part of Exaquantum are signed and are safe for
scripting.
If you have problems installing the Exaquantum/Web client because of security warnings
you may need to change the Internet Explorer security configuration as follows:
The option to "Download signed ActiveX controls" must be set to Enable or Prompt.
The ability to run "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" should be set to Enable.
Note: Browser security is a sensitive issue and must be considered as part of the
enterprise wide IT security).
Exaquantum/Web server
For performance, a change to the web service configuration is necessary.

10.4 Accessing Domain Based Group Accounts (Legacy Model)

By default, Exaquantum uses local group accounts.
This procedure is only applicable when upgrading an existing Exaquantum
installation that uses domain based group accounts. For this to continue working as
usual, the default installation must be modified to use the existing accounts.
This is achieved by adding each of the existing domain based Exaquantum accounts, to the
equivalent new local group based account on each Exaquantum server. The procedure has
to be carried out on each Exaquantum/PIMS or Exaquantum/Web server that is upgraded.
Note: All procedures should be carried out using a Windows account that has
administrator privileges on the local machine.
To configure an Exaquantum server to access the domain based group accounts:
1 Open the Windows Control Panel.
2 In the Control Panel window, open Administrative Tools by double-clicking on its icon.
3 In the Administrative Tools window, open Computer Management by double-clicking
on its icon.
4 In the Computer Management window, in hierarchy structure on the left-hand side,
open the Local Users and Groups folder.
5 Click on the Groups folder.
6 In the right-hand side, double click on the Exaquantum group account to be configured
7 In the <GroupName> Properties dialog box, click on the Add... button.
8 In the Select Users or Groups dialog box, use the Look in: drop-down list to locate the
domain server hosting the Exaquantum group accounts.
9 In the Name column, click on the domain group with the same name as the workgroup
group you are currently configuring.
10 Click on the Add button.
11 To close the Select Users or Groups dialog box, click on the OK button.

10.5 Accessing The Domain Quantumuser Account (Legacy Model)

By default, Exaquantum uses local workgroup based accounts.
This procedure is only applicable when upgrading an existing Exaquantum
installation that uses a domain based Quantumuser account. For this to continue
working as usual, the default installation must be modified to use the existing account.
This is achieved by configuring the Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM)
settings to access the domain based account instead of the default local one. This
procedure has to be carried out on each Exaquantum/PIMS or Exaquantum/Web
server that is upgraded.
The configuration is performed using the QDCOMConfig tool. In a default
installation it will be located in the \Program Files\Yokogawa\Exaquantum
PIMS\System folder.
You will need to know the domain name in which the Quantumuser account is
registered.
Note: All procedures should be carried out using a Windows account that has
administrator privileges on the local machine.
To configure an Exaquantum server to access the domain based Quantumuser account:
1 In the \Program Files\Yokogawa\Exaquantum PIMS\System folder, locate the file
QDCOMConfig.exe.
2 Run the program by either double-clicking on its icon or by right-clicking on the icon
and selecting Open.
3 Inspect the selection buttons at the bottom to confirm that the type of installation
selected is correct.
4 In the NT Accounts: frame, locate the Exaquantum User frame.
5 In the User name text box, replace the current server name (which is the first item up
to the backslash) with the name of the domain you want to use.
6 In the Password text box, enter the password for the Quantumuser account in that
domain.
7 Do not change any other information.
8 To save the changes and close the QDCOMConfig tool dialog box, click on the OK
button.
9 To ensure that the new settings are fully integrated shutdown the computer and reboot.

10.11 Configuring Internet Explorer Activex Security

The Exaquantum/Web user interface makes extensive use of ActiveX technology and
scripts.

10.13 Excel Add-Ins Post Installation Integration

Note: On a client installed with the Standard IT Security Model you will need to add a
Windows firewall exception for the Excel.exe executable to allow access to Historical data
from the Exaquantum Excel Add-ins.
Firewall exception setting
1. Select Windows Firewall from Control panel; select System and Security,
followed by Allow a program or feature via Windows firewall.
2. If Microsoft Excel cannot be found in Allowed Programs and Features, add
Microsoft Excel from Allow another program
3. Select Microsoft Excel from the Add a Program dialog and click [Add]. If
Microsoft Excel cannot be found in the Program list, click Browse to locate
Microsoft Excel using the subsequent Windows Explorer dialog.
4. Select Microsoft Excel from Allowed Programs and Features, and click [OK].
The Excel Add-In Files
There are three Add-in files provided with Exaquantum that need to be integrated:
Exaquantum Explorer Add-In.xlam
Exaquantum Query Add-In.xlam
Tag Configuration Viewer.xlam

These files will be automatically integrated into Excel, except for the following situations:
Excel is installed after the Exaquantum software
Excel is installed using the Click to Run procedure

In these cases, the files must be copied manually to the appropriate location.
Default Location When Excel Add-in files are automatically integrated.
Each Excel installation creates a folder dedicated for the use of Add-in software. In a
default installation it is located under <Program files>\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX\Library
(where XX will vary depending on the version of Excel installed).
Default Location When Excel Add-in files are NOT automatically integrated.
If Excel is not installed, the Exaquantum installation procedure will be unable to locate the
appropriate folder for the Add-in files, so they will be placed in the Exaquantum PIMS
installation folder. The default installation location will be <Program
files>\Yokogawa\Exaquantum PIMS
To enable the Add-ins to be integrated, the three files listed above should be copied to the
Library folder associated with Excel.
Note: do not try to link to them in the Exaquantum installation directory if the Standard
security model has been used.

Integrating The Add-Ins

Support for Add-ins is part of the Excel software. Please read the Excel Help system for
detailed guidance with installing and integrating Add-ins. Once integrated, the interaction
between Exaquantum and Excel is seamless.
10.14 Expanding The Database
In order to reduce the time taken to install the software, the initial database created is
the minimum size necessary.
In most cases you will need to increase the size of the database before using the
software in an operational environment.
The database size can be managed using either:
The Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool that is installed on the server.
The tools that are provided with the SQL database.
The Exaquantum/PIMS auto-expand facility is disabled by default so that standard
SQL tools can be used to manage the database.
When using the SQL tools to initially expand the database, an absolute size should be
defined in preference to setting a percentage.
Database Size
The size should be dependent upon the archiving strategy, allowing enough space to create
and store archives. It is recommended not to let the Historian database to grow so large
that back-ups take hours to complete.
Using The Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool
All the procedures are performed on the Exaquantum/PIMS server. Exaquantum must be
stopped in order to run the Database Expansion Tool.
There are two main steps:
Step 1 - Before You Start The Expansion
1 Run the Services Management Console from the Administration Tools.
2 Check that the SQL Server(MSSQLSERVER) is running:
If it is running then no more action is required.
Figure 10-9

2 In the Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool dialog box, the Information frame
shows the current disk usage status.
3 Check the default value in the box Percentage of disk for Exaquantum database is
suitable. If not, type in a new value to suit your requirements.
Tip: After making any changes to the value of Percentage of disk for Exaquantum
database, you must cause the figures to be recalculated by clicking on the Refresh button.
4 To begin the expansion process, click on the Expand button. Alternatively, to close the
Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool without making any changes select Exit.
5 In most cases, a significant expansion in size will take place, which can take several
minutes or more. The exact time will depend on the size of the disk and performance of
the hardware. During this period there will be much disk activity, and the
Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool dialog box will remain open.

10-20 Chapter 10 Configuration

Note1: If there are any problems during the expansion process, an error message will
report the problem. You should note the details in case you want to report the problem to
Support.
Note2: QHistorianData database which saved Exaquantum historian data consist of two
physical files, QHistorianData1 and QHistorianData2. In order to carry out Exaquantum
Database Expansion Tool correctly, set QHistorianData1 and QHistorianData2 to have
the size same. The Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool will set both sizes to the same
size.
6 When the database expansion is complete a success message will be displayed and the
Exaquantum Database Expansion Tool dialog box will close.
7 That completes the database expansion. Now you need to start the Exaquantum service
(Starting The Exaquantum Service).
Tip: Once the system is running, the size of the database can be controlled more precisely
by using the SQL Management Studio.

Exaquantum Installation Guide 10-21

10.15 Using Domain\Local Accounts (Legacy Model)

By default, the installation procedure configures the basic user and group accounts locally
on the installation computer. This is the recommended method. If you are currently using
domain based accounts then you should consider changing to local group accounts by
using the installation defaults.
If you have an existing system that uses a domain to manage any of the accounts, and wish
to continue using that method, you may need to perform some additional configuration.
The following table indicates what changes are required in which circumstances:
Table 10-1

Note: If you are upgrading a system that uses the Role Based Name Space feature then
additional changes are required. This topic is beyond the scope of this guide. Please
consult your Yokogawa representative.
Domain Accounts
The default installation of Exaquantum uses local groups to manage the user and group
accounts, however some existing installations may already be using domain based account
management that was supported in earlier versions.
The standard installation creates the Exaquantum accounts as local groups.
To use a Windows domain instead, a set of Exaquantum accounts will have to be
created on the domain server.
This procedure is not part of the installation process and is beyond the scope of this
guide. If you wish to create a new installation based on domain managed accounts
then please consult your Yokogawa representative.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Exaquantum and wish to continue
using domain based groups, perform a standard installation. After the installation
process is complete, configure each server to use domain accounts.

10-22 Chapter 10 Configuration

Synchronization
It is important that the various servers within the system remain synchronized (Server
Time Synchronization). If all the machines are in the same domain, then this should
happen automatically.
Local Group Accounts
Access
By default, the user and group accounts for Exaquantum are set up and managed on a local
group basis. The appropriate account details are created locally on each server as required.
In the case of a default installation, the basic set of accounts will automatically be
created if they do not already exist.
The account details and password on each computer must be kept identical.
When the RBNS (Role Based Name Space) feature is used, the additional accounts
will also have to set up and administered on each server.
Synchronisation
It is important that the various servers within the system remain synchronized (Server
Time Synchronization). In a workgroup only environment, each Exaquantum/PIMS server
will need to be configured with the name of a server to be used as a source of time
information.

Yokogawa strongly recommend that Virus Checker software be installed on all PCs.
Exaquantum has been tested with Virus Checkers from a number of different suppliers.
Virus checkers can have an adverse effect on performance of Exaquantum. For this reason,
it is recommended that the files listed in Table 10-2 are excluded from checking. In
addition, the folder where archive databases are created, and restored, should also be
excluded from the Virus Checker. Contact your Yokogawa representative for details.

Chapter 11 Checking the Installation

11.1 Overview
There are four main component types that can be checked before moving on to configure
the Exaquantum system for use in the working environment.
You should confirm some basic functionality works before starting full system integration,
configuration and testing.
Checking the Exaquantum/PIMS Server
Checking the Exaquantum/Web Server
Checking the Exaquantum/Explorer Client
Checking the Exaquantum/Web Client
11.2 Checking the Exaquantum/PIMS Server
The Exaquantum/PIMS server gathers data and makes it available directly for the use of
Exaquantum/Explorer clients, or indirectly via the Exaquantum/Web server for
Exaquantum/Web clients.
It is not possible to check any of the external connectivity as the data collection facilities
have not been set up at this stage. That is part of the full system configuration process.
You can confirm that the basic Exaquantum functionality is working by checking that the
Exaquantum service can be started and stopped on demand.
At this point the service may or may not be running, so use the following checks in the
appropriate order.
Starting The Exaquantum Service
Stopping The Exaquantum Service
11.3 Checking the Exaquantum/Explorer Client
The Exaquantum/Explorer communicates directly with the Exaquantum/PIMS server to
access data.
To complete this check, ensure that the Exaquantum service is running on the designated
Primary and Secondary servers.
To confirm that the Exaquantum/Explorer client is able to connect to the server:
1 Start the Exaquantum Server Manager.
2 In the Exaquantum Server Manager dialog box:
Confirm that the server names are correct.
Check that the status is Running.

Chapter 12 Changes to an Existing Installation

12.1 Upgrading From A Previous Version
To upgrade from a previous version of Exaquantum is a two stage process:
Uninstall the existing software.
Note: When a previous version is uninstalled, if the SQL Server data files are saved under
a non-default drive or the data files are to be moved to a different drive then in order to
prevent a SQL Server 2012 upgrade failure, the following operation is required.
1. Uninstall SQL Server
2. Install SQL Server from previous version media. Change data file saved location to the
required drive.
3. Move Exaquantum data files to new saved destination.
4. Attach Exaquantum database files in SQL Server.
Install the new version of Exaquantum software.
Server - The procedure is the same as that in the Reinstalling The Server Software section.
Client - The procedure is the same as that in the Reinstalling The Client Software section.
Upgrading to Exaquantum R2.70 or Later
New functionality is added for the Data Selector in Exaquantum R2.70. This extends the existing
search function to allow searching based on a Tag or Function Block Description as well as
existing search on Tag, Function Block or Folder name.
The upgrade to Exaquantum R2.70 or later requires the Tag Description Migration Tool to be
run after the upgrade, and starting Exaquantum. This is required for the Search By Description
option of the Data Selector.
The executable is called TagDescrMigration.exe and can be found in the
folder: ...\Yokogawa\Exaquantum PIMS\Migration.

Instructions
1. Click on Execute to start migrating Tag Descriptions
2. The progress is shown via the number of tags and also a progress bar.
3. Click Close when migration finishes to quit Tool
NOTE. If the Exaquantum patch R2.60.01 was installed with Exaquantum R2.60 and the
Tag Description Migration Tool run as described above, then it is not necessary to rerun
the tool after upgrade to Exaquantum R2.70 or later
Upgrading from Exaquantum R2.20 or Earlier
If you are upgrading from Exaquantum R2.20 or earlier, and have offline archives, that
were backed up with SQL Server 2000, you will not be able to restore these archives
directly in Exaquantum (using the Admin Tools Archive UI). This is due to the
incompatibility of the SQL Server 2000 database backups with SQL Server 2012. SQL
Server 2000 was used to create the database backups to a SQL Server backup device,
before the archives were put offline. These backups have to be made compatible with SQL
Server 2012, before they can be directly restored using the Admin Tools Archive UI. A
tool is provided to make these backups compatible with SQL Server 2012 - the Re-archive
tool (details in PIMS User Guide (IM 36J04A11-01E)).
12.2 Adding Web Server
If you want to add the Exaquantum/Web feature to an existing Exaquantum/PIMS Server
installation there are two options (Web Server Deployment Options):
Exaquantum/PIMS and Exaquantum/Web servers combined on a single computer
1 The existing Exaquantum/PIMS server installation will have to be uninstalled, see
section Uninstalling Exaquantum.
2 Take Database Precautions to ensure the safety of the data.
3 Check for the prerequisite software. See section Combined Server Prerequisites.
4 Perform a reinstallation of the server software (Reinstalling The Server Software), but
choose to install a combined server (Web Server Deployment Options).
Exaquantum/Web installed on a different computer
1 Perform a standard installation (Installation Procedures Overview) for
Exaquantum/Web on the new computer, including any prerequisites (Exaquantum/Web
Server Prerequisites).

12.3 Reinstalling The Server Software

The following issues need to be considered first:
Database - If the installation is already in service, with an existing database that needs
to be retained, follow the procedures for database precautions (Database Precautions).
Computer name:
If the reinstallation is on a computer with the same name - you can reinstall the
server software (Reinstalling The Server Software) with no impact on the
configuration of the rest of the system.
If the installation is to a computer with a different name - there are implications for
data embed in the database that will need to be resolved. Consult with your
Yokogawa representative.

In addition, after the new server is commissioned, each client will need to be reconfigured
to access a different server.
RBNS - If the Role Based Name Space feature is being used, there are implications
for the group account details stored in the database. Consult with your Yokogawa
representative.
To reinstall the server software please refer to the following sections:
1 If the database has to be preserved, follow the advice in the topic Database Precautions
2 Uninstalling Exaquantum
3 Installation Overview
4 If the server has a new name, reconfigure the clients to access a different server
12.4 Reinstalling The Client Software
To reinstall the client software please refer to the following sections:
1 Uninstalling Exaquantum
2 Installation Overview
12.5 Database Precautions
There are occasions when you need to run the installation procedure on a computer with
Exaquantum already installed. For example when upgrading to a later version or adding
new components.
In these types of situation, you will probably want to retain the existing data.
There are two precautions to take:
Back up the existing database using the methods suggested in the Exaquantum
Engineering Guide Vol. 1.
During the installation procedure, in the Database Creation dialog box (Exaquantum
Database Creation), ensure that the Overwrite existing database checkbox is not
selected.

Chapter 13 IT Security Setting

This chapter describes how to set IT Security.
To counter threats to security, the Yokogawa CENTUM system has introduced IT
security. Since the same IT security was also requested for other YOKOGAWA
solution-based software packages (*1), Exaquantum is now compatible with the security
from version R2.60.
*1: Those are Exaopc, Exapilot, Exaplog, Exarqe and Exasmoc.

The IT Security Setting Tool is used for Security Setting.

For the following products, Exaquantum can only coexist with the Legacy model:
CENTUM VP R5
Other Solution-based Software packages Exaopc R3.70 or later, Exapilot R3.90
or later, Exaplog R3.40 or later.
This is because the security settings in Standard modes are different between Exaquantum
and the other products.

If the current security model is changed, other YOKOGAWA solution-based software

packages compatible with IT security also need to have their security configuration
changed
Important: When communicating between HIS (Standard Model) and OPC, create the
CTM_PROCESS account by executing the following file on Exaquantum Server.
In case of CENTUM VP R4.02
<DVD>:\CENTUM\SECURITY\CreateCTMProcess.exe
In case of CENTUM VP R4.03 and later releases
<DVD>:\CENTUM\SECURITY\Yokogawa.IA.iPCS.Platform.Security.
CreateCentumProcess.exe
TIP: For information about YOKOGAWA solution-based software packages compatible
with IT security, contact Yokogawa.

13-2 Chapter 13 IT Security Setting

13.1 Security Model

The IT Security design allows 3 security models with different strengths.
The IT Security Setting Tool offers to set up legacy model or standard model of IT
security model. Strengthened is applied manually on top of Standard. Please refer to
Engineering Guide 2 for details of strengthened mode.
Types of Security Models
Standard Model
Standard model sets the following security items.
File, folder access control by user authentication

For detailed information about the Standard model, refer to 13.2, Security Configuration
Items .
The standard model is further divided into 2 types depending on the method of user
administration.
Security configuration under Windows domain management
Select this type when the users and groups in the account are managed by the Windows
domain controller. Before performing security configuration, it is necessary to generate
user groups on the domain controller.
Security configuration under standalone management
Select this type when performing IT security configuration for each PC without using the
Windows domain controller. As user accounts are generated for each PC in this case, it is
necessary to make the management of all related PCs groups and users consistent with
each other.
Strengthened Model
This is a model to which further security measures are manually added to the standard
model.
The strengthened model is excluded from the setting scope of the IT Security Setting Tool.
Note: If strengthened model is needed, then you should contact your Yokogawa
representative.

Legacy Model
This model is provided with an equivalent security level to that of EXA packages
incompatible with IT security (corresponding to security level: low in Exaopc and
Exapilot).
The legacy model is applied in the following cases.
Exaquantum coexists with Yokogawa products (CENTUM, EXA packages, etc.)
incompatible with IT security.
Exaquantum coexists with Yokogawa products (CENTUM, EXA packages, etc.) of
the legacy model for security.
Exaquantum coexists with Yokogawa products that use different IT Security settings
(Exaopc R3.71 or later, Exapilot R3.90 or later, Exaplog R3.40 or later)
The effect on the existing client is not considered.
Compatibility will be kept with the previous revision
With the legacy model applied, Windows Firewall is disabled. Settings can be applied
manually for legacy, refer to Exaquantum Engineering Guide Volume 2 Network
Configuration (IM 36J04A15-02E)
For detailed information about the legacy model, refer to 13.2, Security Configuration
Items .
