My sincerest gratitude for your time and attention to my concerns regarding

restroom cleanliness at your restaurant, and, in particular, for your invitation to apply
for a position at the McDonalds site.

As you are already aware, once I arrived homejust one block awayI applied
immediately for a team crew member position (the only position listed as available).
Per our brief discussion, Im interested in a cleaning and maintenance position, if its
available.

Im not adverse to a position as a crew memberin fact, for eight months, I worked
the front line at an Indianapolis-based McDonalds at age 15 as the first job of my
twenty-year career historyhowever, your needs are clear: they demand a
dependable, energetic, thorough, hygienic, and hard-working man, who is
passionate about upholding the McDonalds tradition and reputation of impeccably
clean restaurants.

Although I have not worked at McDonalds for nearly two decades, I never lost sight
of the values I acquired while in their employ. Im eager to bring that back to your
location.

I never complain about anything unless Im willing and able to alleviate the problem,
nor do I ever fail to offer to actually do so on such occasions. Thanks again, then,
for arranging an interview tomorrow at 3pm, thereby allowing me to demonstrate my
virtue in that regard.
