A speech is a talk delivered in public. It can be during a formal or an informal occasion. There are
many types of speeches such as a "Thank You speech, a "Welcome" speech or a "Farewell" speech.
There are also speeches on topics of interest or social issues.

Here is the format of a speech

Greet the audience

Introduce the topic

Paragraph 1 Introduce yourself to your

audience. Include details such
(Introduction) as your name, position held,
club/department attached to

State the purpose of the

talk

Body of the speech Include all the content

points and elaborate on
(in paragraphs)
them

Conclusion Conclude your speech and

thank your audience
