What are some of the best hindi Fonts? designers?
I am looking for some fonts that can be used in DTP and logo designing and poster writing

Some of the good Hindi fonts in my view are listed below. Note, I only added Unicode fonts and
not the non-standard fonts such as Krutidev, among others. Which Hindi font should I use in a Hindi novel?

Where can I download Hindi free fonts from?

1. Mangal, Utsaah, Kokila, Nirmala (included in Microsoft products). Arial Unicode is also
there but not that nice looking. What bold font is the best?
2. Lohit Devanagari, Noto Sans Devanagari (Google web fonts).. these are okay also.
What is the best shayari in a Hindi font?
3. Akhand Devangari, Kunkun Devanagari and Kohinoor Devangari from Indian Type
In vb 6.0 can we use phonetic font for typing Hindi?
foundary are quite nice also.

4. Sangam (in iPhone) - it looks good on phone screen.

5. Saral Devanagari by Linotype - nice clean font.

Of late, Adobe has also added Indic fonts to their Creative Suite product line, but I do not know
how good they are.

Best ones out there in the order of font ligature support / aesthetics and readability standpoint.

Standard Unicode

1) Chanakya by Summit India used widely in Gita Press books

2) Sanskrit2003 by Omkarananda Ashram

3) CDAC Surekh

4) Kokila by Microsoft

5) ITF Devanagari and Munshi Devanagari by Indian Type Foundry

These are fonts primarily used for content
