Berkley Design Professional Announces New Hires & Promotions

Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA, July 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Berkley Design Professional (Berkley DP), a
division of Berkley Alliance Managers, a Berkley Company, has significantly bolstered its underwriting
staff with the addition and promotion of five professionals.

management and loss prevention partner.

Colleen Kennedy joined Berkley DP as an assistant vice president, senior underwriter. A 10-year veteran
in the Architects and Engineers Professional Liability (A/E PL) marketplace, Ms. Kennedy spent four
years underwriting A/E PL on behalf of another Berkley company in addition to working with several
other A/E insurance companies. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and holds CPCU,
RPLU and AU designations. Ms. Kennedy will be located in Philadelphia, Pa.

Wayne Brockington joined Berkley as a senior underwriter. Prior to Berkley DP, he was a claims
specialist at a top insurance carrier and underwriter for 11 years with two leading A/E insurance
companies. Mr. Brockington is a graduate of Widener University and holds RPLU and AU designations.
He will be located in Washington, DC.

Janet Hafner has been promoted to assistant vice president, senior underwriter. Ms. Hafner established
herself as a top producer after joining Berkley DP as senior underwriter in 2014. She is located at the
company's Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif. office.

Deborah Ferris has been promoted to assistant vice president, senior underwriter. She joined Berkley DP
as senior underwriter in 2015. Ferris was recognized for establishing Berkley DP's presence on the East
Coast, while achieving outstanding results with renewal accounts. Ms. Ferris is based in Atlanta, Ga.

Chris Regan became an underwriter at the company in late 2016. Previously, he served as an accountant
in the Albany, N.Y. office. Mr. Regan is located in Atlanta, Ga.
