MW2 Server Admin Manual July 2017

Congratulations! You have been accepted as a server Administrator for our

MW2 servers! This field manual is designed and written to assist you in
being the best possible server administrator and IonGaming community
member.

First Steps to Follow

1. Join our Discord server: Invite Link
a. Add either [iG] or [IG] to your Discord nickname and in-game
name
2. Contact a MW2 Head Admin to setup your server password*
3. Install game recording software such as: Fraps , Bandicam, or
GeForce Experience ShadowPlay (Nvidia GPU required)
4. Get familiar with other admins and clan members on Discord. Dont
be shy!

*Login not currently required

Responsibilities for MW2 Admins

As part of the administration team for MW2, you will be responsible for
maintaining the server player-base. This means you will need to:

Ensure all MW2 servers are populated, if they are not, join the
server until a sizeable number of players are present.

Be logged into Discord when you are playing

Enforce server rules

o You may either warn, kick, or tempban violators

Periodically spectate suspicious players

o Permanently ban all confirmed hackers with video proof

 o If the player appeals on the forum, you must provide your
proof within 48 hours

Have Fun! Just because youre an admin now doesnt mean you
still cant enjoy a little game time!

B3 and Using Commands

In order to enforce the rules on our servers and to maintain an orderly
community, you must use the plugin called B3. This plugin allows you to
execute commands by using the in-game chat function. You will first use
this plugin when joining a server for the first time as an admin.

To login to the B3 plugin you must go into the in-game chat by

pressing T

o Type: /!login yourpassword*

You must use /!login And not just !login when logging
in. The / keeps other players from seeing your
password.

Using / for other commands is recommended

but not required.

Your password was set by the Head Admin as mentioned

above

To permanently ban a player for hacking (aimbot, wallhacks, no

recoil, etc.)

o Type: !pb playername reason

For every ban you make, you must include this in your
reason: appeal at iongaming.xyz

To temporarily ban a player for violating the rules

o Type: !tb playername 1d reason

 To warn a player for violating the rules

o Type: !w playername reason

Three warnings=tempban!

To kick a player for violating the rules

o Type: !k playername reason

To check if other admins are in the server

o Type: !admins or @admins

To PM or Private Message a user in-game**

o Type: /!pm playername message

Use the / so other players will not see the message!

*At this time admins are not required to login; therefore, you will be automatically authenticated.

**The !pm command may or may not be available on the date you are reading this.
