Course Description The 3 - unit subject is designed to to study the change in composition, structure, and properties of
matter as expressed both qualitative (observable chemical reactions) and quantitative (symbols,
formulas, and chemical equations) way. It aims to introduce to the students the quantitative
relationships of chemical substances (Stoichiometry), Carbon compounds and their industrial
importance (Organic chemistry), Electrochemistry, and Oil Chemistry. Emphasis is placed on the
students learning as manifested the familiarization of concepts, solving problems analytically, and
integrating it into the real - life and industrial uses.
Vision An institution responsible in the education, formation and training of competent technical professionals
who are contributing to a better Philippine Society and Global Community.
Mission The College of Technological Sciences - Cebu believes in and is committed to the formation of young
Filipinos and as responsive and competent individuals in the field of Science and Technology.
Institutional Outcomes The College of Technological Sciences - Cebu graduates must be able to:

Programs Educational The Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology will produce graduates who are equipped with the
